Washed the iPhone 17 Pro Max USB-C port with fresh water to flush out salt residue. Hopefully this fixes the minor charging disconnect issue. I had submerged the iPhone 17 Pro Max in seawater to capture aquatic life and later forced Emergency Override for charging after it kept showing a warning even after 30 hours. After that, PD charging stopped working, while MagSafe and USB-C power bank charging worked fine. After 2–3 days, PD charging started working again, but it still disconnects occasionally and needs to be reinserted. Let’s see if flushing out the salt residue fixes it.

A Tesla owner’s Sentry Mode captured someone unplugging the charger from their Tesla and plugging it into their own vehicle—even though another charger was available right next to them. That’s seriously poor charging etiquette.

I think seawater did something… strange to my iPhone 17 Pro Max charging port. Now when I plug in the charger and turn on the switch at the same time, it shows charging a bit late compared to the iPhone 16 Pro Max and 15 Pro Max. Today I also noticed it does not charge at all with a 25W charger, but it works with 45W and 65W chargers. Should I go to the Apple Store and replace the charging port, or just use the chargers that work? Will this problem get worse over time?

Wdym it stopped charging in a properly chilled AC room with the ceiling fan running at full speed 😭 Stuff like this is why I will never consider an iPhone as my primary device (atleast until they fix this). (And this is the iPhone 17 Pro, the one with a vapour chamber 🥀)

I’ll give you this advice for free again ‼️ Don’t ever try charging your phone and put it under your pillow while sleeping, this is what happened to me last night

A terrible new feature that recently appeared on Twitter only showed up on my account during the initial period and has since disappeared. It still shows up on my alt account though... Is anyone else experiencing this? I just wish this feature would go away.

Saw Tyla using an iPhone 5 on TikTok for that vintage camera vibe and decided to buy one for GH₵ 1,000. 😭 Loved the camera test at first, but just 2 days later, this "brand new" phone is swelling, showing black lines on the screen, and shutting down on its own without even dropping The seller claimed it was "brand new," but now that I’m reaching out, she won't pick up my calls or reply to my texts

When charging at home (entirely from the grid) my Cybertruck cost 5¢ a mile...$5/100 miles to run. But, we have solar panels making 78% of our home and truck electricity, so it is even less for us. BTW solar is immune to geopolitical and market problems.
