🧵1/3 I partnered with Kling to make a promo for their new 3.0 model. I came up with the concept, created it and delivered it all on my own in 3 days of early access, I wanted to make something that showed how Kling could be used to tell a diverse range of stories in a diverse range of styles. I've honestly been blown away be how incredible the model is and I haven't even scratched the surface of features like the new 3.0 OMNI model. For me Kling 2.6 was already best in class for most things but 3.0 sees massive improvements to video quality and detail (no need to add grain to mask imperfections) and prompt adherence. Also you can time your generations to be as long as 15 seconds and as short as 3, this is fantastic for pacing your scenes. My top 3 in voting was 1. cs_alpine 2. de_golden 3. de_warden This is Golden; a very interesting layout that takes a little getting used to, hence me dying a lot at the start of this playtest but it gets better. This is the map I want to play the most due to the layout. This contest had a number of daring and unique layouts (contact is also worth a look); for me this one was the most intriguing and perhaps offers something new to CS2 . Perhaps Overpass stans will get the mental juices flowing on this map. Maps like these offer something new and challenging to CS, beyond the tried and tested layout formula that we are all familiar with. When CS2 add new community maps in updates, I think a video should accompany the changes with fly-throughs and some words on the type of map it is to encourage people to test the waters of these new maps and potentially shape the future of the active duty map pool.

How to build a brand from scratch using Paper, Codex + GPT image model 2 Since two weeks back, I´ve done most of my design work in paper And I´m genuinely impressed by what you can do with their MCP Combined with claude & codex you can pretty much build out a brand in an hour or two 1. Brainstorm a name for you product or service 2. find a good design system you can iterate on or come up with one from scratch 3. create a moodboard of things you like and want the brand to be about (images, colors, shapes, elements, you name it) inside paper 4. select the moodboard and prompt codex to create a brand brief (hooked up to paper mcp) to create the inital brand book in code 5. Use the new brand book you created and copy as PNG, take that image into ChatGPT and use GPT model 2 (with the brand prompt) to create the brand book 6. OpenAI just released Codex Security, an AI agent that scans software projects to fix vulnerabilities while ignoring harmless bugs. Testing on 1.2mn commits found 792 critical flaws and dropped false alarms by 50%. Here is how the Codex Security agent works Initially, it scans your software project to learn how all the different pieces of code connect. It uses that knowledge to build a threat model, which acts as a custom map showing exactly where your software might be exposed to hackers. The agent then hunts for potential security holes based on that specific map. When it spots a possible flaw, it does not just send you a random alert. Instead, it creates a completely safe and isolated copy of your system known as a sandbox. The agent then actively tries to break into that sandboxed copy to prove if the security weakness is a real danger. If the agent successfully exploits its own test environment, it knows the bug is a genuine threat and not a false alarm. After confirming the danger, the agent writes a custom software patch to fix the broken code. It then tests that new patch to guarantee the fix does not accidentally break any other features in your software.

My Polymarket bot is finished! It’s fully automated, I just run it and let the magic happen. At the start of each "Bitcoin Up or Down" round, the bot only watches the market during the first 2 minutes (configurable). If, during that time, either UP or DOWN drops fast enough, a price drop of at least 15% over 3 seconds (configurable), the bot triggers Leg 1 and immediately buys the side that dumped. After this first buy, the bot will never buy the same side again. Instead, it waits for a hedge opportunity on the opposite side. The hedge (Leg 2) is triggered only when: Leg1 entry price + current opposite ask price auto on [sum=0.95] [move=0.15] [windowMin=2] > shares: number of shares bought each time (for both Leg 1 and Leg 2) > sum: total price threshold that allows the hedge > move: dump threshold (e.g. 0.15 = 15%) > windowMin: number of minutes from the start of the round during which Leg 1 is allowed In this example, I ran: auto on 10 0.95 0.15 4 The bot watched the market for the first 4 minutes and bought 10 DOWN shares at $0.35 after a 17% drop in 3 seconds. A few seconds later, it bought 10 UP shares at $0.56, because: 0.56 + 0.35 = 0.91 < 0.95 That locked in a clean 9% profit. Why limit the strategy to the first 4 minutes of the round? Congrats to EloShapes.com on their launch! On a similar note, is out of beta and available to the public. A lot of you have been asking me what my plan is now that EloShapes is also doing 3D scans... the answer is: nothing changed! I think that competition is good. I'm a mouse nerd and a LONG TIME EloShapes user, so the more options I get as a user, the better. I really think that my vision and EloShapes, though, is fundamentally different. I've had the domain for FMM for years, I have a much larger platform in mind compared to what I built so far. The 3D scans are the necessary step for my vision, not the end goal: they never were. I am also very proud of the fact that I've been able to scan at least 5 mice in full color EVERY DAY with my own pipeline, and I think I will easily have almost full coverage of the mice people would want on the website within months. Check the video for the mice I've added in just the last few days, all textured. Apart from some of the features I've mentioned before (like the virtual hand/grip), FMM is meant to be kind of a "MyAnimeList" for mice, so that you can share your profile, like this: and then later on leverage this curated list of mice you build for yourself to be shown even more mice you might like. FMM is also a tool for reviewers and anyone that wants to share their opinions on mice. Virtua Fighter is one of the greatest games of my life. When I was a kid, one of the items on my bucket list was to have an original Virtua Fighter arcade machine at home. As I got deeper into collecting arcade games, I eventually acquired the Model 1, Model 2, and Model 3 boards that powered the Virtua Fighter series. Unlike most arcade hardware, these systems are incredibly large and complex, which made it difficult to enjoy them properly. I’m probably the only crazy person in the world who would build something like this. 😆 I always wanted to create a setup that would let me use them more conveniently, and after years of planning, I finally built a Model board selector. Out of all the custom projects I’ve made, this is the one I’m most attached to, and it’s also the one I use the most. A lot of people ask how I built it or whether I’d be willing to sell one, but it’s extremely complicated to make and surprisingly expensive. Because of that, I’ve only ever built a single unit. I’m probably the only crazy person in the world who would build something like this.
