Easily the best way to introduce an antagonist meant to strike fear into the player. Not only is it Samus at her best; it does stuff Samus never did. The way the SA-X enters the room means that Samus had some kind of limiter on her super missiles, and the SA-X deactivated it.

So I have these irl situations that I call “arcs” and I’m currently in the 3rd act of Metroid Fusion as of today imagine my horror when I found the person thats the equivalent of the SA-X

the decision to make the lighting give it almost a skull like look made me panic and turn the game off XD

I saw this clip online and that was what got me to play fusion as my first Metroid game last year. (Admittedly i did kinda abuse rewind but it was still really fun)

Ngl I like the SA-X but I wish it had more mandatory encounters where you run from it. That combined with a pretty lackluster boss fight made me a little disappointed on my first playthrough
