Crockett's comments are solely an appeal to other Blacks, to burnish her "cred" (which is false given her upbringing and schooling). Like most Dems when she assumes an accent other than her own it is a tell that she'll be lying. Blacks of decency decry flat out murder. Many of the witnesses in the trial were Black, btw.

The difference, is that white people are generally taught to look at their history as a whole—the good, the bad, and the ugly—and to acknowledge and regret the wrongs committed in the past. Black people, on the other hand, often seem to focus only on the parts of history where they were victims while ignoring instances where Africans or Black societies also committed injustices against others. Instead of recognizing that history is complicated for every group, instead they use our white guilt to get special privileges, and to justify their bad behavior, because unlike us they don't regret the past harms they did to others.
