Apparently, the Democratic Party loves high security fences - just as long as they only in Chicago and only during the DNC! Just look at the fencing they put up around Chicago's historic Water Tower. Heavy police presence (and City of Chicago vehicle presence) on the Mag Mile and Streeterville last night because there was a "welcome party" for DNC delegates at Navy Pier. After all, Mayor Brandon Johnson's gotta make sure those DNC delegates feel they are in a safe space. #DNC2024 #WelcometoChicago #reporterwilliamjkelly
