Every illegal alien who doesn’t have a car is using one of these. They ignore lights and stop signs. They ignore traffic and ride down the middle of the street.

I'm all against government overreach BS, especially from the Dem left. BUUUT, I'm 1000% for this new law. If there was ever an issue that needed addressed, this is it. Next on my list is outlawing those ultra bright blazing white headlights on cars.

Obviously another money grab by our democratic friends. But honestly, New Jersey has too many fat, lazy kids anyway, let them go out for a walk or run. Or shockingly ride a bike without it requiring a plug.

Personally I'm sick of dodging these f'n people in Trenton while coming to or leaving work! 99% of them are people that cannot get a driver's license. Cut you off, blow through stop signs. SICK OF IT!

If you ever saw the way ebikes are driven in cities like Paterson and Newark I think your take may change. Ebike are far more powerful than regular bikes and many are driven recklessly. The amount of pedestrian accidents from ebike riders driving reckless is staggering.

Come hang out for a weekend in Hudson or Essex County, in a few different, heavily congested, urban areas & you'll be singing a different tune. Then go across the GWB, up to the Bronx & see the Turd World up close & personal on these scooters - which will migrate to NJ.

I don’t think you see how these kids, illegals etc are using abusing this privilege. Reckless driving, speeding getting in the way of motorists. Do we have to wait until people die to do something. I think your viewpoint on this is the dumbest part of your post.

Every time I leave the house I have a problem with these idiots on electric bikes. Just yesterday some moron on an electric bike was doing 20MPH in a 40 zone right down the middle of the lane so nobody can pass him. The day before 2 kids on one blew from a side street into the main road without stopping and looking right in front of me at full throttle, lucky he's not dead. Reminds me when Jet Skis were new and big and as a boater they were a menace. Same thing, different conveyance.

My daughter is angry that a birthday present last year now she can’t legally use now because of her age. I think the law is gone to far. There is no reason why a child can’t ride a bike if accompanied by an adult. There is no reason if an illegal immigrant that can’t read English and drive a a truck but a teenager who understands the road laws can’t ride an e-bike. Don’t punish good teenagers. I ride with my children. I put rules on where they can ride. They are responsible.

Parents, electric dirt bikes are NOT e-bikes. Walton County Sheriff's Office, Florida is seeing an increase in electric dirt bikes, also called “e-motos”, being ridden in neighborhoods and on public roads. Monday, six of these electric dirt bikes were impounded and citations were issued to juveniles 11-14 years old. Many Do NOT have pedals, have high-powered motors, and are designed only for off-road use. Under Florida law, these vehicles are NOT street legal. It’s illegal to ride electric dirt bikes or "e-motos" on public roads, bike lanes, and sidewalks in Walton County. Driving an unregistered, electric dirt bike on a public road can lead to citations, fines, impoundment, and a mandatory court date. Parents are responsible for making sure e-motos are used legally and safely. Even if it was a gift for Christmas and thought to be an e-bike, many of these are electric dirt bikes and the rules of the road are different. Allowing a child to ride an e-moto on streets or sidewalks puts them and everyone around them at serious risk. E-Bike vs. Electric Dirt Bike or E-Moto ✅ E-Bike: • Has pedals with electric assist • Designed for roads, bike paths, and shared spaces • Typically, lower speeds and requires less protective gear • Less than 750 watts • Can travel 28 mph or less depending on class of bike • Classified as a bicycle 🚫 Electric Dirt Bike / E-Moto: • All throttle • Higher power and higher speeds • Built for off-road terrain only • Requires full protective gear • 750 watts or more • Can travel up to 70 mph • Classified as a motor vehicle ➡️ NOT legal on streets or sidewalks Our goal is education and safety. Not enforcement after something goes horribly wrong and ends in a tragedy. When these e-motos are operated illegally on public roads and sidewalks, enforcement action will be taken. We're here if you need us.

Wake Up NJ Speech from Trenton today in the Assembly Appropriations Committee on Bill A5267 How are you doing members of the committee, My name is Michael from Wake Up New Jersey, Bill A5267 means to procure and incentivize transmission-scale energy storage for "renewables" such as solar and wind How is this being funded? Well through your NJ electric bills! Starting July 1st 2027, a "minimum" of $60M will be collected via the societal benefits charges or SBC Might be asking yourself, what's an SBC? When first digging into why our bills were so high in February this year I had no idea, but They are hidden charges in your electric bills to pay for mostly pet projects The Board of Public Utilities or BPU, recommends the SBC funding level for 2025 to be?......anyone here know? It's over $344M per year in our NJ electric bills Why don't we go over a few these programs, Ever Heard of Charge Up New Jersey? It's a program that gives folks up to $4,250 dollars for buying Electric Vehicles and chargers. This is costing NJ residents over $30 million dollars a year in their electric bills How about 'It Pay$ to Plug In', this program has spent $100M since 2012 on EV chargers in your electric Bill! This program cost ratepayers $27M this year alone as an SBC Per year Electric Vehicle Programs total $82.5M, Clean Energy Equity costs us $16.6M, NJ Wind total $22M and Energy Storage is currently costing the rate payers $29.5M per year, just to stress again this bill your voting on today will jump it up to $60M a year at a minimum! More than double it's current total Why is all this in our New Jersey Electric Bills? Want to know the real problem NJ? Democrats here have been pillaging your pockets, nickel and diming you year after year for pet projects in your electric bills. Now with the rake hikes happening, they are frantically trying to steamroll multiple bills in committees in an effort to deflect from the main issue Since 2017 - 6 power plants have closed totaling over half our power here in NJ, Democrats championed coal and nuclear plants being shut down, betting on Windfarms that never happened, this is a huge reason our electric bills are so high here, we need sensible solutions, not a green agenda storage push that caused this mess New Jersey residents pay over $8,100 more per year than the average American Household on their bills and pay around $700 more per month in overall bills compared to the national average My handle receives so many messages, comments, concerns from citizens that are struggling daily, some working 2 to 3 jobs, this state is becoming more unaffordable each and every day, and bills coming out of this Legislature that add to that burden, are not good for the hardworking people of New Jersey We are already hurting with the worst property and corporate taxes, one of the worst income and gas tax rates, and the absolute worst overall tax burden at over 54% of your lifetime earnings being syphoned from our NJ residents How much more do you want to take from us? How do you justify so much money hidden in our electric bills yearly? This endless spending path is unsustainable, we need more money in our pockets, not less Voting yes for this literally raises our electric bills yet again, is that really what you want to do to the people of NJ? Thank you Any questions? Or comments?

We cannot legalize an illegality under the guise of a "hustle." Your hustle must not compromise the rights of others by polluting their environment. We must all join this online campaign to educate the public on the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment. All waste from households, companies, and any other garbage-generating establishments must be transported to the designated final disposal site the Dandora dumpsite. We are also developing a waste-to-energy plant at Dandora, which will clear existing waste and transform the area into a more habitable and dignified environment. Anyone earning from or handling waste whether organic, recyclable, e-waste, or any other form of waste must be licensed by the County Government. Waste pickers and recyclers must cease creating unauthorized dumpsites in residential areas under the pretext of sorting or recycling. If you must handle recyclables, it must be done away from residential areas and must fully comply with the required standards. To those criticizing our enforcement efforts online before you condemn, take time to understand why we are doing this. You are welcome to join us during our operations and witness firsthand the suffering endured by residents living near non-compliant sorting centers and material recovery facilities. We must do what is right, no matter the cost. The time to act is now. To those attempting to compromise junior staff and obstruct proper enforcement, be warned: integrity will prevail. Our mission is clear to create a cleaner, greener, and healthier environment for all.

This dude unloads on cop in a who is in the right type situation. We are in Adam's county PA where a Law Enforcement Ranger pulls over a man because he is saying he could not see his tag. By the officers own admission he was able to see the tag as he got closer but proceeded with the stop. As per usual the officer asks for ID and the man in truck went to work on this officer telling him this is an illegal stop as no crime has been committed so he is not required to provide ID. Through out the interaction he asks the officer if he is free to go and the officer doubles down on detainment. However at the same time when asked the officer was not able to articulate a crime. The man also asked for a sergeant and the officer never compiled by getting a supervisor on scene which honestly would have been the best move. There are two ways to look at this interaction. The eyes of the officer: The officer calmly maintains that the traffic stop is entirely lawful. In the United States, law enforcement needs reasonable suspicion to initiate a traffic stop. An obscured license plate or illegally dark window tint satisfies that standard in almost every jurisdiction. Furthermore, once a lawful traffic stop is initiated, a driver is legally required to produce a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration. The driver's perspective: The driver claims that his tags are legit and the officer was able to see that when he ran them. He argues that because the ranger claimed at first he could not see the tags but now he can as he approached the vehicle. Since the officer admitted he can now see the tags and there is no problem with the tags, the initial stop was "erroneous" and constitutes an illegal search and seizure. He also details a personal grievance with local law enforcement, claiming a local district attorney and police officers have been "terrorizing" him. What is your take on this stop? Was this a case of an officer error where with the cop trying to save face by digging for a reason for the stop, or was this a legal stop and this officer deserves praise for staying calm while dealing with this man's outbursts? Share your thoughts below.

Do you ride a bike? Or an e-scooter? Or walk a dog? If so, please take a second to read this. If you are on a bike or scooter on a shared pathway and approaching someone walking a dog, please be courteous and slow down a little. Especially if coming up from behind. I am a wheelchair user with a dog and we have way too many close calls with fast moving bikes and scooters. People not using a bell and whipping by within inches. If the dog turned it's head or stepped a bit wide, they'd be hit. I'll happily move as far to one side of the path as possible, and if I've got the younger dog who isn't as experienced around fast moving things, I'll stop at the very side and have him sit in front of me to give everyone as much space as possible. If I don't know you're approaching, I can't do that. So please, for the love of dog, use your bell. Don't wait until you're right behind someone with a dog. Use it while you're still at a distance, and if you aren't sure they noticed it, ring it a few more times. Give them as much time as possible to move to the side and prepare the dog. If it's a puppy or a dog that hasn't had much experience with bikes, being able to get them off the path or give them a little extra distance from the fast moving bike helps prevent them from getting scared. The vast majority of cyclists are great and really respectful, but there's always a few that aren't. This year the challenge is kids on e-scooters. They are going fast and having fun. Safety isn't at the forefront of their mind. They often don't use a bell or slow down at blind corners, and many don't think about giving the dog any space. I've been startled a few times by them so I can only imagine how the dog felt. This is one of the reasons why I do a lot of desensitization and counter conditioning. Dog owners-you need to do your part to. If you've got headphones on, make sure you can still hear the bike bell. Make sure to give the cyclist or scooter rider as much space as possible from your dog. And of course, unless you are on a designated off leash trail, keep your dog on a leash. If you have a puppy or a newly adopted dog that might not be comfortable around bikes, take some kibble or treats and go hang out with them near a multi use path. Let them watch. As the bike or scooter approaches, drop a few treats on the ground. For many dogs, this is all it takes, but if your dog is visibly stressed, fixated on the bike, or reacting, try moving a further from the trail and once they're comfortable at a slightly further distance, try closer again. If they are still stressed or fearful even with more distance, don't force the issue. Instead introduce them to a bike that isn't moving, and gradually work them up from there. If they are struggling, talk to a trainer. Regardless of if you are holding a leash, riding a bike or scooter, or enjoying a walk outdoors, just be respectful. And of course, be safe. Thanks, Admin 🎥 Puppy walk for cuteness

MAJOR RED ALERT: What's sitting in your garage, charging in your bedroom, or parked in your driveway could be a ticking time bomb. You missed the story the corporate media barely covered: Matson, a US shipping giant, just BANNED all electric vehicle shipments after 3 consecutive ship fires. Their reason? The "hazards of lithium-ion batteries." Why should you care? You're not shipping 3,000 cars across the ocean. Because the same technology in those EVs is in YOUR home right now: → Your phone → Your laptop → Your e-bike/scooter → Your Tesla → Your lawn equipment → Your toothbrush → Your kid's toys The stats are terrifying & they're being ignored: 🚨 NYC: Lithium battery fires increased 7X. 🚨 SF: Battery fires more than doubled. 🚨 Nationally: 40+ deaths from e-scooter/bike fires since 2017. 🚨 FAA: 60+ onboard battery incidents this year alone. These fires aren't like normal fires. They're chemical infernos. Once they start, they are often UNSTOPPABLE. Fire departments are often told to just "let them burn." The cause? A single point of failure: ✅ Overcharging ✅ Overheating (leaving an e-bike in the sun) ✅ Physical damage (a simple drop) ✅ Manufacturing defect ✅ Water exposure (flooded EVs burn houses down) This is a direct threat to your family and your home. YOUR ACTION PLAN NOW: 1. STOP overcharging devices. Unplug them once charged. 2. NEVER leave devices (especially e-bikes) charging unattended or overnight. 3. KEEP them out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources. 4. INSPECT batteries regularly for damage, swelling, or punctures. 5. CONSIDER a fire-proof containment bag for larger batteries (e-bikes, scooters). This isn't fear-mongering. It's a public safety emergency happening in silence. The government isn't acting. The media isn't warning you. Your safety is your responsibility. SHARE this to warn everyone you know.
