If I were to jump on this conspiracy theory bandwagon, I'd say COVID was a dry run for exactly what these two guys were talking about. Before COVID, I wouldn't have believed people would go along with stupid shit like 6 feet to stop the spread, cloth masks to protect yourselves, or taking this experimental drug that's never been tried before and has proven to kill people, all for your safety. I believe most Americans are sheep. Ultimately, I don't believe people will just sit back and let these tech companies do the things these folks are suggesting, but so many people will.
