thank you for 7,000 thought I'd share a bit more of my story since there's some new faces here I started posting actively in March during the @levelsio vibe jam met so many cool like-minded people through that and got hooked on building fun stuff in public I was always really self-conscious about posting my dev projects since I come from the finance world, never worked in software, and write code like a caveman but what I found is that people enjoy seeing novel things built with genuine effort I started posting hobby projects using computer vision (fruit ninja hand tracking, dvd dodge body movement game, cat chin-ups, etc) a lot of people enjoyed these silly unhinged ideas! so I kept going, kept posting, consistently for the past 4 months I've met kind / talented / cool people here and have gotten some incredible opportunities through this so I'd really encourage everyone to share your projects and talk about what interests you feel free to introduce yourself and your work, I'd love to meet you and follow your journey sorry for the rambling, and thank you again for all your kindness 💗

I built this with Claude Fable and GPT-5.5 Codex + gptimage2 over just the past few days. The best part is: given the code, your agents can add new plants to it all you want! They just need an understanding of the code and an image generator capable of creating material maps. I highly encourage you to do PRs for any extra plants you add! I'll be adding more myself in future versions. The system is fully robust: it provides complete LOD and billboards/imposters generation for the plants and you can adjust the detail levels all you want for different platform targets like mobile and/or use lower LODs as your main for extreme optimization. As this is the first release alpha version, some bugs may have been missed, I encourage you to report any bugs. The repo includes all the assets for the scenery world too, even the ambient sounds of birds and wind! Information about tomorrow's launch of the #FM26 3d stadium megapack! First off, really freaking hyped for it, but it is also making me a bit nervous! Been a month in the making now and super cool to see it rolled out and well over beta, but for everyone is really different! Well, this post will contain info on how I roll it out tomorrow. Release time: So I have made the decision to launch the megapack at around 12:00 tomorrow Central European Time. Gives me a bit of time to get up, do final checks and that. Support: I will be streaming for the hours following on from that with the stream starting at about 11:30. I'll be there, probably making stadiums and providing support. I will also release a simultaneous video at 12:00 on my own YouTube channel. In that I will go over the process of installation, some customization you can have and how to do them, as well as chat about current challenges and planned features. Features: The pack features an initial 120 stadiums from (mostly) the top 5 European Leagues. Furthermore, there will be certain stadiums from South America in it for the first version. For more information, consult the google sheet in the follow up post below. It contains a custom made crowd system which has seen a significant performance boost causing nearly no stutters or lag, even on older hardware. The animations might look janky, but they will be worked on during post release support and updates. Bugs: Considering my level and skill in programming, it was only going to be natural that bugs would happen. I have not received any mention of either game breaking, save corrupting or other catastrophic errors. The bugs are relatively minor such as the position of the ball not always aligning or the referee and linesmen disappearing for some reason. Just like the animations of crowds, they will be ironed out over time. If you come across a bug, feel free to let me know, but do so respectfully please :D I also need to stress again, that it will not work on macbooks with apple silicon, and steam deck is still experimental. I will therefore not provide technical support for issues related to apple silicon. FAQ: Some frequently asked questions are: - Will it be free? Yes. 100%! If you see it somewhere and they're charging for it, step away, (kindly) report it to me and I will take the required actions if need be. My mods will always be free in its core, with you having the option to send a donation if you wish to do so! - Will it work on #FM24? No. Plain and simple this will not work in FM24 due to the difference in game engine. - Do I need to start a new save? Nope! Fully compatible with your saves as well as match history. So if you won the final of the UEFA Champions League in your home stadium, you can replay it with your ground ;) this is also the case for saves from FM23 and FM24. Lastly, this has been a mammoth effort, but could not have been done without the support from everyone who has been involved. No, we got a hangar module in August of 2013 to let us walk around and view our ships. 2 years later The first iteration of the Persistent universe went live in August 2015 for the first time, here are the major milestones, The initial version of the Star Citizen Persistent Universe (PU) was first made available to backers as part of the Alpha 2.0 release in December 2015. This version was a huge deal, it's the release that combined several gameplay elements and introduced a persistent, multiplayer environment. The PU has been in an alpha, or early access, state ever since and continues to receive Monthly updates and new features with major milestone patches.. Below is a chronological list if all major patches . There have been a ton of "smaller ones" but each has brought new tech, features and improvements as well as bugs Alpha 2.0 (December 2015): The initial release, which allowed players to spawn at Port Olisar and introduced an early version of the persistent, multiplayer universe around the planet Crusader and its moons. I started doing this every birthday after a near fatal crash in 2021 (at a time when I was wholly married to my work) and everything changed since then. As a clinical doctor sub-specialist, there are many things I changed for the better. I stopped being a workaholic. I found that seeing 20 patients a day with utmost dedication and care was far more satisfying than seeing 100 quickly. It also helped me improve my patients lives. I learned to prescribe less, listen more, treat when needed and advice lifestyle changes. It is now more than 3 years since I have touched alcohol. So that I can authoritatively treat my patients and advice them with what is right. I stopped meeting medical pharma representatives and accepting to go for every medical conference and sponsored meeting. This actually improved my clinical knowledge because I started to improve myself, on my own. I read more... I became that student I once was. I became my most important competition. Everyday I try to be a better doctor for my patients - by following science and evidence and updating myself. I started to love myself, because of which I started to take care of myself. From finding time for daily work outs (not to develop a 6-pack, but to be physically active to improve overall health), keeping aside time to unwind, and saying no to additional work and over indulging in commitments - because of which, I found time to feed my passions - music, book writing and movies. My first book (non-fiction) is now in proof-reading (hopefully will be out next year). And I started working on my new book projects. Bound India (Bound) and Tara Khandelwal will be representing my future literary works. At some point in the future, I want to write so much more (not like these days when I have to burn midnight oil to get through a chapter after an exhausting day at work). I stopped believing in publish or perish. This is a myth. Academic life is important. I am still active in it - but I choose my battles wisely. I do not get anxious or depressed if I cannot publish medical papers consistently. I decided to publish medical papers if I find them worthy of spending time, money and effort on. This gave me the option of indulging in public health research projects (like Citizens Protein Project) and spend more time with MESH ( This was far more satisfying that wasting money to publish medical science that only catered to my peer-circles and not the public. Today, I had a good breakfast with my wife, and we decided to get inked (my fourth and fifth tattoos), got some choux pastry instead of traditional 'cake cutting' and worked more on my new book (a semi-autobiographical medical college memoir). I thank you all for the great support and love in here... and I hope I can do more for my patients, their family, my family and the public at large... as long as I can. ...and thanks also to my trolls and loud but irrelevant critics in whose minds I live rent free.

Dear friends, I turn 43 today. Thank you for all your warm wishes on this day. I took a leave from hospital today to be with family and unwind. I started doing this every birthday after a near fatal crash in 2021 (at a time when I was wholly married to my work) and everything changed since then. I decided to smell the flowers, and touch the grass, but also do quality work as a professional. Yes work life balance is possible. It is not a myth.
