💬 We get asked Should Stop Loss be used by default or adjusted per strategy? ❕ Answer from a GT App Top Trader: Stop Loss is not a safety switch. It’s a positioning tool. I don’t use one fixed value. I adjust it based on market structure and strategy behavior. 🔸 When it works I use Stop Loss when it’s aligned with volatility and timeframe. For example: on 1H–4H strategies, I place Stop Loss beyond normal price noise. That way, it protects from real invalidation, not from random pullbacks. In backtests, I want to see Stop Loss triggering only when the idea truly fails, not during routine corrections. 🔸 When it doesn’t I don’t use Stop Loss with aggressive DCA. Averaging needs room, and Stop Loss often closes trades before the structure plays out. I also avoid tight Stop Loss on 1m–5m. High noise turns good entries into small losses. Frequent stops aren’t protection. They’re friction. 🔸 How I decide I backtest multiple Stop Loss values instead of assuming one is “correct”. I compare drawdowns, deal duration, and how exits are distributed. If Stop Loss improves overall behavior and stability, I keep it. A 10 month old surrendered to the New York Animal Care Centers with the excuse(s) NO TIME and MOVING. They made it perfectly clear she was unwanted. After digging for more info, it seems this poor puppy seems to have come from a major hoarding situation where there were 16 dogs and 9 puppies were confiscated. Little by little they were coming to the shelter. We are so grateful that a new foster stepped up to save her life. They also saved another dog Mr Brisby 212361 who will be joining the family after he gets neutered. Welcome to Pound Hounds ResQ Bella. You're #outtathestinkinshelter

🔸Good day Minister Felix Tapiwa Mhona, What kind of “road” is this? Chiruudzi? This is one of the main roads that takes one from Harare CBD to the airport (Malta Rd). It’s dilapidated beyond recognition. It is actually a hazard that should have been closed off if your Ministry was at all functional. This sort of thing is why we were shocked that you were crowned the “best Minister”. Best at what when you have potholes so big they create a dam that lasts long after the rainstorm is over? Hana yenyu haina kurova here when you took that award? Given the perennial potholes that plague road networks everywhere, you actually owe us an apology for your incompetence.
