🚨 NEW SCHEME 🚨 It's 100% true that Kyle Shanahan is the master at creating open receivers & elevating QB play It's also true that BROCK PURDY - thanks to his quick twitch, presence vs noise, & eyes to move - is helping this offense reach new heights

The fact that defenses must now account for a QB in Brock Purdy, who is far more successful on plays of 3+ seconds compared to Jimmy, is another layer of "well... shit" when preparing for the 49ers Plus, he is already throwing away from defenders! Low and away. High and outside.

Greatly enjoyed recording this episode with @JoshMcCown12 We started with Purdy's first throws, and how comfortable he immediately looked There are imperfections. There will be rough moments. But Brock brings a few different elements than we've seen.

Oh man, don't tell all the Purdy haters this. They swear Kyle's system could make any QB look great.

To be fair, Purdy has done extremely well, but that is a combination of excellent line play, great coaching, talented receivers and a terrible defense.

Should be over Sunday. Don't think 49ers have played a good defense and good offense team.

I’ve never seen this play from Kyle Shanahan & Brock Purdy before. Purdy is the perfect QB for this system…how quickly he’s getting thru his reads is next level.

"Mike Shanahan built a system with the Broncos that made any RB look great. Kyle Shanahan, as the league has evolved, has taken the torch from his father & made a system that makes almost any QB look pretty good. ... Of course Brock Purdy is a system QB." — nick wright

"His mind is elite. It's Brady-esque the way he uses his mind to exploit defenses. The combination of him and Kyle Shanahan is a weapon." Colin Cowherd & Damien Woody on 49ers QB Brock Purdy's strong start to the season

🚨🚨THIS IS WILD🚨🚨 #49ers quarterback Brock Purdy says that 40% of the time he is not able to see his intended target on downfield throws due to the size of the o & d linemen in front of him. 🤯 (Via Built 4 More)

"Outside of Brock Purdy, this is the player you can like ill afford to lose most. It's Nick Bosa." Joe Spadoni is worried about the 49ers defense if reports are true that Nick Bosa could miss a significant time (The Morning Roast)

That's not a defamatory statement at all."

This is nuts to me. Anyone with eyes can see that pick was 100% on the Quarterback. What is this guy saying? Just say it's on the QB to do better with the football and move on!! 😭😭😭

WR Equanimeous St. Brown was briefly with the 49ers during training camp this year had this to say about Kyle Shanahan: “Everyone wants to talk about the injuries and stuff, but in my short time there on offense, I realized real quick that Kyle Shanahan is a mastermind. I’m not gonna say he draws plays creatively, but he will purposely scheme people open to the extent, we all know defenses have rules, there’s too many offensive plays for defenses to know every play so they have rules they go by. So he’ll figure out their rules, and use that to his advantage. And he does it so well that you are wondering why they are winning with injuries on offense and scoring so many points, it’s because he knows how to scheme guys open.”
