Ola recently announced that they are bringing affordable AI to Indian developers. 𝐉𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐬 an Indian company has been providing affordable GPUs for developers across the globe since 2020. We are a little known, so I want to share our story here. 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 We are bootstrapped, building from the outskirts of Coimbatore. Started as a small team of 4, from humble backgrounds none from IITs/IIMs. Currently, we are a team of 12+. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐝 The cost of hosting GPU servers 4 years back in India was insanely high. We got 2 quotes which charged us Rs. 1.5L for a single server per month. At that cost, it was not practical for us to do the business. So we went to the first principle to build an MVP for a mini data center/server room. For the first few years, we ran all our servers from a room fitted with ACs, a UPS, and a Generator, which experts claimed would not work. As we scaled, we faced the heat of our setup, but by then we accumulated more money than we had. So last year we moved it to a tier 3+ DC near Bangalore. This helped us boost the confidence of our users, as we have redundancy for power, internet, and networking which gives us and our customers a lot of peaceful nights. 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐉𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐬 Developers and artists from across the world have supported us in our journey. Some prominent companies are ZOHO (My inspiration), Weights and Biases, UNC, UpGrad, and many more. 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐞 We crossed 580K USD in the last financial year, the highest ever in our history. Being bootstrapped, the only way for us to grow is to put all the money back. Our customers are our investors, as a founder I have hardly taken a paycheck for the last 4+ years, since the team also believes in our vision they are happy not taking a fancy cheque. 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 As AI evolves, we want to bring the capabilities of AI to users at the lowest prices possible. Being bootstrapped, the only way to survive is to be frugal and disciplined. 𝐇𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 I am proud of our hiring strategy. We hired only freshers to date, and most of our hires do not have a formal degree. They come from rural areas and economically challenged backgrounds. The average age of our new team is 19. They have played an active role in building our V2 of Jarvislabs and improving the product daily. I love to thank everyone for supporting us in our journey. Thanks to Analytics India Magazine, INDIAai, fastai for recognizing us in our early years. If our story resonates with you, Please share our story to inspire others & support our mission. #StartupIndia

Gujarat sees a GIB chick after a decade, through a novel conservation measure - the jumpstart approach, coordinated by the Ministry, State Forest Departments of Rajasthan and Gujarat, and Wildlife Institute of India. Envisioned by PM Shri Narendra Modi ji in 2011 to conserve GIB in its natural habitats including Gujrat, Project GIB was launched in 2016. As a result the number of birds in conservation breeding centres, started at Sam and Ramdevra in Rajasthan, have reached 73 with addition of 5 new chicks in this season and we are moving ahead towards rewilding of birds in near future. In achieving another milestone, a female GIB, tagged in August 2025, had laid an infertile egg in Kutch, as this population has lost all its males long back. In a major trans-state conservation effort, a captive-bred GIB egg from the conservation breeding program in Rajasthan was transported by road over 19 hours in a handheld portable incubator and was replaced in the nest on 22 March. The female completed incubating this fertile egg and hatched it on March 26. The field monitoring team found the young chick being reared by its foster mother. This effort is among one of the many steps to recover the critically endangered Great Indian Bustard populations. With the commitment to save GIB, we are making great progress in India’s conservation journey. Congratulations to all scientists, field officers and wildlife enthusiasts who made this possible. We are keeping our fingers crossed for the survival of the chick. At the same time we remain committed to leaving no stone unturned to make the endeavour successful. 🎥 The GIB takes a stroll with her chick.

Almost 30 years ago my parents moved their young family oversees to help support pastors starting churches. They moved half way across the world and found themselves without a pastor to support. The church in this area was almost nowhere to be found. Rituals replaced relationships and the need for pastors was huge. So Mom and Dad decided to do what they said they wouldn’t do, they started a church. It was just our family at first. Felt kinda silly if I’m being honest. Just the five of us in our living room. “Why move across the world for this?” We wondered. Then, as we built relationships, the church began to grow. It was slow at first. It was also hard and lonely. But Dad was bent on building something that would train leaders and would grow without him. He always said our job was to work ourselves out of a job. The goal was to leave the leadership in the hands of the people there as quickly as possible. My parents had to move back to the States rather suddenly a few years ago after my Mom suffered a major stroke during a serious illness. The church was strong and Dad spent years discipline and training leaders. Yet, it was still sudden. We wondered, Would the church continue growing without them or begin to dwindle? Recently I decided to go back home to Northern Chile with my 3 kids to see how the church my parents started in our living room was doing. And look what I found! It’s a church of well over 500 but that’s not the impressive part. The church has planted 11 other churches, runs two children’s homes, a rehab center, a seminary training hundreds of pastors, and sends people all over the world to work in ministry. It’s been a rock in the community during earthquakes, tidal waves and civil unrest. I was able to return home and tell Dad, “Dad, your church sends their greetings”
