New skill: /improve-animations Inspired by shadcn’s improve skill I made one specifically for animations. Use your most capable model to audit animations in your project and hand the execution to cheaper models. Fable is available through July 12, so make good use out of it!

Stay up to date with my skills here:

@shadcn my goat

@shadcn And any parricular skill you can recommend to come up with an idea, design animations?

@shadcn /emil-design-eng is the one I’d recommend for building animations from scratch!

@shadcn Great thanks

@shadcn You’ve been sharing so many skills I’m getting lost hahah

@shadcn How does it compare with your paid skill web-animation-design

@shadcn The paid skill is better since all of the skills in the public repo are based on my personal site while the course skills are based on the course knowledge which is broader. Also: expect a major update to skills in the upcoming release on August 25th.

@shadcn Alright got it thanks!!

@shadcn thanks for new skill @emilkowalski, improved animations of my iOS app

@shadcn this is great, thanks for sharing

@shadcn Can’t wait to try it Emil. Thank you!

@shadcn Running right now

@shadcn deadass an hour ago i asked fable to go through your blogs, use your design engineering skill and fix my animations

@shadcn Light theme on claude code is a rare sight !

@shadcn we have 5.6 sol now, fable is not needed :D

@shadcn Splitting audit and execution between models is smart for keeping costs down on animation work.

@shadcn nice

@shadcn OH

@shadcn amazing work

@shadcn I like this framing. The useful split is audit with the expensive model, then hand execution to cheaper ones with a receipt. Otherwise /improve turns into another taste-heavy branch that quietly burns the whole queue.

@shadcn That's a really clever idea to improve animations. Definitely going to check it out.

@shadcn thanks for sharing

@shadcn Have you thought of adding stable IDs for each rule and scripts to check against them like impeccable design has?

@shadcn Right on time ♥️

@shadcn the audit/execute split for animations makes too much sense. stealing this

@shadcn Do you have one to add animations to a project that doesn't have any?

@shadcn Looking for best skill to charge for? My / money for free has yet to sell more then then the $20,000 I invested and now am 97% under water. Thinking /money for rent skill might be better skill to start small and just pay rent. I got a week

@shadcn the audit with the big model, execute with cheap ones split is smart. animations are exactly the kind of thing where a strong model catches the janky easing but you don't need it for the grunt work. gonna try this on a project that's been feeling stiff

@shadcn cool I'm going to use it with the new marketing repo/skill I just made

@shadcn Since they are more focused on web, I made a React Native version for mobile developers.

@shadcn Thanks. Been following you for a while. Any good skills for expo app UI design improvements including animations?

@shadcn Will be interested to play around with this

@shadcn How is this different from your paid Skill?

@shadcn Brilliant work as always 🔥 Just ran it with Fable 5 before the cutoff.

@shadcn for ios apps too?

@shadcn Amazing!

@shadcn yet another addition to make my apps nicer. thanks emil 🫶
