Neither are correct. The LXX, ie the Septuagint, was a commissioned work by Ptolemy II to create a universal translation of the Torah, chronology, poems and prophets, ie the Old Testament. When Israel was eradicated by the Romans in 70 AD, everything was lost or destroyed except for what the Christians preserved, which was the LXX. The original was copied by scholars primarily in Egypt until Constantine moved the capital to Byzantine. Hence the codex Sinaiticus. The only remaining sects of Judaism was the the Escenes and Kabbalists, both being Jewish mystics with zero epistemological or ontological ties to the prior religion. In the sixth century, a bunch of the mystics created a new sect of "Teachers of their divine knowledge", aka Rabbis, with a new instruction book called the Talmud. That's Judaism today. They then rewrote and retranslated the LXX into Hebrew, and striped, modified or deleted anything that could make Jesus of Nazareth the Christ. That text became known as the messoretic text. A few hundred years later, those descendants then taught Muhammad, and why those two religions have shared history, but not with Christianity.
