NEW: This Supreme Court case could devastate workers’ right to strike. If wealthy corporations get their way, companies would be able to sue workers for the cost of a strike — like spoiled food, lost revenue, and more. It would be a massive setback for the working class.

This will only encourage subtle, and much more financially impactful, forms of protest, such as sabotage, theft, mass resignations and walkouts etc. The ability to strike is the pressure valve that keeps these things in check

I mean if companies want to take the non violent option off the table I guess that’s fine.

When the highest court in the land has a partisan agenda, nothing is sacred. No constitutional precedent is safe anymore.
