We just released our new Character Control Rig Addon for Blender! We listened to our user's requests, and this was created specifically to help them with their MetaHuman animation workflows in Blender. Want to learn more? We just dropped a new tutorial demoing how you can use it with Rigify, Mixamo, and Unreal's robust Retargetor. Importing and exporting animations onto FK controls and the MetaHuman Face Board is dead simple now. #BlenderTutorial #MetaHuman #UE5 #blender

Playing with Figma Motion and shaders today! Tried recreating one of my old blob animation explorations, and it’s so much fun to experiment with different settings and combine them together. In this example, I combined my custom blob mask shader with a lens distortion shader to create this effect. Really love how easy it is to iterate and discover new looks.

It has finally happened - my first video guide on how to create electromagnetic openEMS simulations with Blender 🔶 is now available! This video guide will show you to first create geometries and specify ports in #blender3d , export them to openEMS, write a few python scripts, and then using geometry nodes to visualise and animate the results back in Blender. The last time I shared my giant and tiny human/animals series they went viral right here on X. Here is the link to the tutorial - I've put together a more in-depth guide explaining the process from image generation to bringing the images to life with Veo 3.1 in this video. These videos are so much fun to create! Once you understand how to create the images, it's up to you, you can prompt different camera angles, connect them and tell a story. Enjoy!

Recap of the highlights from my Portfolio Site. I spent ~572 hours on this site. Made in Webflow with GSAP Sounds like way too much — but I used this project to learn Webflow, GSAP, animation basics, and to get a feeling for web animations. So it happened quite often that I had to rebuild modules after learning something new. Sometimes there were performance drops, which led me to rebuild even more. I used Swup JS for the first time to create a page transition. That took so much time. With this project, I also built a base boilerplate for future projects, so I can create new sites faster. And there were so many other things I tried for the first time. All in all, I learned a lot just by building. Check it out live! Link in the comments.

I think I've written the world's fastest Blender exporter. It exports full levels in 9 milliseconds. Check out this video where I show live editing of levels from blender, and it updates instantly in the game. For some context: Okay, since the beginning of development on this game project, I knew I didn't want to write a custom level editor for it and rather spend my time programming the game. I decided to use blender as the level editor, and export directly from blender to my game engine's file format. Blender only lets you write add-ons in Python, which is not just incredibly slow but also a terrible platform for this kind of systems programming work. So, after having a Python exporter for the longest time, I decided enough was enough, and I programmed this exporter in C. Blender doesn't expose any C API or interface. So my only option was to download Blender's source code and insert my code directly into Blender. And that's what I did :) So this new C exporter not only is orders of magnitude faster than the python version, but also is way more robust. And because I'm in C land, my hands are much freer to do things. There are two elements of secret sauce that make this exporter run so fast: - A custom memory arena implementation. - Lockless multithreading.

In the limited time I’ve explored it, a few features stood out, especially the level of customization: * Order flow: Helps track real buying/selling pressure to gauge momentum • Custom formulas on watchlists: Create your own logic to filter stocks faster • Heatmaps: Quickly spot sector and stock-level strength or weakness Looks quite useful for swing trading. Planning to explore more widgets on DEXT T3 and build my own setup around it.

It won the Innovations Award (CES Winter, 1995) and set new standards for multiplayer games through IPX networking (up to 6 players on custom maps), essentially establishing that modern RTS games must include multiplayer as a baseline standard. What we take for granted and don't even think about today was defined by an RTS game 32 years ago. New benchmarks and standards in gaming are extremely rare - think about how many games truly change them. Warcraft was one of the very few that did. Yes, my Lord!
