Then he quit at the top in 2023, because everything looked perfect from the outside and something was wrong on the inside. He took a break, and came back with something more global. Now he runs Silicon Mania, and the mission is simple: MAKE TECH FUN AGAIN. His read is that tech markets itself terribly: people are scared of Waymos and suspicious of AI not because the products are bad, but because nobody tells the story well."It's a marketing problem, not a product problem." Alex Hormozi’s business advice has taken the world by storm. He’s published two books and has more than 9,000,000 followers on the Internet. This is the first interview he’s ever done all about his writing process. Some highlights: 1. Be loyal to the truth, not your own ideas. 2. Silence the world when you write: Alex closes the windows, wears earplugs, and uses noise-cancelling headphones to create an environment where the outside world ceases to exist. 3. His book, $100M Leads went through 19 drafts (so expect to rewrite, a lot). 4. There’s a big difference between becoming known and becoming respected. Don’t let an algorithm convince you otherwise. 5. The pain is the pitch: The more vividly you describe someone’s problem, the less you need to sell the solution. 6. People buy things from people who can describe their pain better than they can. They assume: “If you understand my problem that well, you must have the solution.” 7. Sell at the point of greatest deprivation, not satisfaction. Offer the steak when someone is starving, not when they’re already full. 8. When writing ads, capture moments of pain as specifically as possible. Don’t say “I was overweight” when you can say “I wore a cover-up at the beach and avoided photos.” 9. Yet the Jewish Encyclopedia and its article on Judaism says modern Judaism and the Judaism of the Old Testament are very different. The religion of Israel had centered around the magnificent temple in Jerusalem with its sacrifices and ritual. The question now became How could one be a true Jew in a very foreign, even hostile environment? The Jewish Encyclopedia begins to define what makes a Jew so different from a Gentile. According to the rabbis, only Israelites are men Gentiles. They class not as men, but as barbarians. 00:10:52:02 - 00:11:35:23 Since Gentiles are not men in the fullest sense. So the Gentile is not a neighbor of a Jew. Further, since Gentile laws were too crude to admit of reciprocity, meaning too crude to be taken seriously, the Gentile was forever beneath the Jew. Gentiles were outlawed by God from the beginning and thus had no property rights.
