Mr Peter Obi Visits Plateau State on Condolence Mission, Receives Strong Words from Governor Mutfwang. Mr. Peter Obi, arrived in Plateau State on a condolence visit to the Governor, His Excellency Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, following the tragic and ongoing loss of lives in parts of the state due to violent attacks. During the visit, Governor Mutfwang did not mince words as he described the persistent killings in Plateau as nothing short of genocide against the people. He lamented the scale of violence and the seeming impunity with which communities have been targeted, calling for national attention to the crisis. The governor also took a moment to commend Mr. Peter Obi for the unprecedented political momentum he generated during the 2023 general elections.
