Today is Thank A First Responder Day. Here’s a little throwback to spending the day with Rural Metro Fire in Tucson, Arizona and trying on some of their gear. Today we share our gratitude for first responders and their families. Their hard work and sacrifice keeps us all safe. We are proud to be hosting a great day at Australia Zoo for all first responders with Fortem Australia. And Thanks again to rural metro, they shared knowledge of how they fight fires and keep the community safe, and we shared some tips on the best ways to rescue rattlesnakes out of homes!

NCWNZ voted to support the Gender Equal NZ movement for equality for all genders, not just women. Dhiru stated this was essential because “non-binary and trans people face discrimination as much as women do, if not more.” A gender-equal NZ “will not be achieved if non-binary and trans people are not able to express their identity fully and freely.” Dhir told RNZ. “Wow! NZ First’s Andy Foster sure stuck it to the Labour party during the energy debate last week and they didn’t like it. Parliament finally allocated the last hour of the last day to debate one of the most pressing matters for the NZ economy. Mr Foster asserts that the gas shortage will lead to one million homes having to convert to electricity at a cost of up to $13000 per household. Bad news if you’re someone who prefers gas to cook with. Even worse news if you can’t afford the change over. People who know the political history of the ban will say, “well NZ First voted with Labour when the exploration ban was implemented”. True, but the charge to overturn the ban in this term of parliament has been led by NZ First and Shane Jones in particular. The ban was reversed in July 2025 when National Act and NZ First voted 68 to 54 to push the act through. Against opposition from Labour, Greens and the “Maori” party who say they will reverse it again if they’re returned to power. Could NZers really be so daft as to vote for such a move?

Have a listen to our PM stating some things that even my dear Indian friends do not agree with! NZ and India do not share the same values as Chris Luxon states! From Hinduism, to child brides to the persecution of Christians, these are not our values and I’m appalled that our PM would talk about our shared values! In northern India, they are burning churches, raping and killing Christians - this has been well publicized! Modi has the goal to have India a complete Hindu nation, outlawing any conversion to Christianity etc! Luxon says here that when you visit India, you are inspired, many I know who visit are appalled by the poverty, the caste system (one of the more racist systems in the world). Before you call me racist, we have over 60 churches in India that reach out to the poor and the lepers etc. We have built and established three medical clinics there helping the vulnerable and have three orphanages! We have many wonderful Indian Christians in our church here in NZ who are building better lives here than sadly what they could in their home! But let’s be honest, we do have a major problem when our PM bows to foreign gods and participates in false offerings! I wonder if he will take Modi to church this weekend while in NZ. Guess they won’t go to Destiny Church 😱😜, but they would be welcome at City Impact Church and hear about the Christian culture and values that have built NZ and brought the blessings and the freedom that we have here (and I have to add, as it is true, our culture and values that are sadly being eroded).

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Zimbabwean prodemocracy activist Elliot Pfebve, who died in the United Kingdom after a public battle with cancer. He became the first person in the United Kingdom to receive a personalized mRNA vaccine for bowel cancer. Elliot Pfebve came from a family deeply rooted in the struggle for democracy and human rights in Zimbabwe. His family paid a heavy price for believing in a free society and a democratic Zimbabwe. His brother was killed by ZANUPF thugs because of their political beliefs and their fight for freedom and justice. His passing is a sad moment for all those who believe in a progressive society built on democratic values, human rights, and dignity for all people. My heartfelt condolences to his wife, children, family, friends, and all those who knew and worked with him. May his soul rest in peace.

Trump: I will not be abandoning the farmers. We are strong on the borders and for the farmers and others in the hotel industry. We have similar situations and Kristi and I will be working with the states and we will work something where the farmers and be responsible. They have had people around for 10 or 15 years and they know them well, we will put them responsible, and issue a form of card or documents and the farmer will be responsible for these people. They will not have citizenship but they will be working and paying taxes. We need to get our farmers the people they need or else the farmers will not be able to do their land. It was tried when there was a very strong guy, and he got everybody out, and every farm almost in the country but every farm in California or Iowa went bankrupt and they had nobody to work and we do not want that situation. We will put our farmers and others in charge of the people that they have under them. They know the people and it will work out well. We will take care of our farmer but to get the criminals out. INDIA FIRST. NOT KIWIS FIRST. THAT’S LUXON’S NZ. Luxon is beyond a frickin’ joke now. Luxon was at yet another Indian event today…this time parading around the Kabaddi World Cup in Takanini…waving like he’s some celebrity while the country he leads is in chaos. Every weekend it’s another Indian event, another community he’s desperate to impress, another photo-op for the cameras. Sikh games, Indian business awards, Diwali…the list goes on. While he smiles for photos, the shelves are emptying, the roads are clogged, the hospitals are bursting, the schools are overloaded, and Kiwis can’t afford to buy a home in the country their grandparents built. Every weekend it’s another Indian event, another community he’s desperate to impress, another photo-op for the cameras. Sikh games, Indian business awards, Diwali…the list goes on. Meanwhile New Zealand is disappearing under his watch. This video looks like he’s in India, not Auckland. While he smiles for photos, the shelves are emptying, the roads are clogged, the hospitals are bursting, the schools are overloaded, and Kiwis can’t afford to buy a home in the country their grandparents built. At Downing Street last night, I was pleased to have the opportunity to say thank you to Keir Starmer and his team for his and their service to our country and The Labour Party. A lot has been achieved in his period in office and he has restored the values of decency and integrity to public life. He leaves Britain in a stronger position than he found it, and Labour as a serious party of government again. I was particularly struck by his determination to do everything he can to constructively support his successor. Country first and with enormous good grace to boot. Thank you.

"We all know its a stupid bill!" Labour's Willie Jackson opines on the move by NZ First to make English an official language of New Zealand. His rudeness in assuming to speak for every New Zealander is no surprise. He's never had any manners. What many might acknowledge is that if a European made similar comments on the Maori language, the screams of "racism" from Willie and his Labour comrades would bring the roof down. Its distracting too to see the host Ryan Bridge and of course that embodiment of the soy male, National's Paul Goldsmith, pandering to this ignorant buffoon. Many of us know too that if the situation were reversed there would not be all the smiling and laughing. What a state NZ is in when we elect the likes of Mr Jackson to our parliament. Kudos to Winston Peters and NZ First for putting this bill up. Its IMHO a welcome push back against the undemocratic "Maorification" being forced on us by race based political activists and their legacy media sympathisers.
