NEW: Rider transfer 6’9” 235lb big Tariq Ingraham is set to visit Memphis this week, his agent tells me. Averaged 10.9 PTS 7 REB + 1.5 AST on 54.2% FG shooting last year for Rider. Ingraham just recently received a waiver to be immediately eligible for the 2025-26 season. He is a solid low-post scoring threat with good footwork and touch around the rim. He uses his physicality really well inside and would provide immediate help at the big spot for Memphis.

The former 4⭐️ top-50 recruit adds that he is receiving strong interest from multiple other HMs. Gapare is an elite athlete with very good physical tools. He excels in transition, help-side defense, and has a good catch-radius around the rim. Gapare improved his outside shot significantly shooting 37% last season from 3PT. Would be a very good addition for Memphis this late in the offseason.

Whorton appeared in 21 games last season, averaging 3.0 PTS 2.9 REB on 64/33/64 shooting splits in 9.1 minutes per game. The addition gives the Tigers some more depth at the big spot. Whorton is a rim-running big with potential to become a solid low-scoring option. Has pretty good feel around the rim for both hands and plays physical.
