I remember these terror just like yesterday 🥲 I was watching the News in the morning with my 1year old son and a 2year old daughter in Quantico Va. and these happened in the Breaking News. I thought it was a regular plane crushed. But soon after there was another one in PA.

On the 22nd anniversary of 9/11 we remember the men, women, and children whose lives were cut short by a terrible act of evil. It was a day that changed our nation forever. In the aftermath of 9/11, President George W. Bush asked my father Billy Graham to share a message of hope at the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance Service in Washington, D.C. My father said, “…words simply cannot express the horror, the shock and the revulsion we all feel over what took place in this nation…Why does God allow evil like this to take place? Perhaps that is what you are asking. You may even be angry at God. It is hard to believe that 25 years have passed since September 11, 2001, a day of unimaginable tragedy that forever changed America and the world. This week, as we mark this solemn anniversary, we remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives taken from us, and we honor the extraordinary courage of the first responders who ran toward danger, many making the ultimate sacrifice so that others might live. We also honor the generations of American servicemen and women who answered our nation’s call in the days, months, and years that followed, and all those who continue to stand watch in defense of our freedom. On September 11, 2001, I was a cadet at West Point, watching the attacks unfold and realizing that the world we were preparing to enter had changed forever. We knew that our nation was at war, and that the oath we had taken would soon carry a very different weight. Twenty-five years later, I still carry the lessons of that day with me: The fragility of freedom. The extraordinary courage of ordinary Americans. The solemn responsibility we share to defend this nation. May we never forget those we lost. May we never forget those who answered the call. And may we always remain worthy of their sacrifice. 🇺🇸
