@hytopiagg I really don’t understand why this is now the vision after pivot, pivot,pivot, pivot which really decimated NFT Worlds. I have to say I like it but we have all lost so much I am not sure if I can back this….the old fool me once

@hytopiagg I have always backed you through all of this, I have had my frustrations and losses. However I do like what you have come up with now and will see it through, I am back on board with this vision. IMO HYTOPIA goes and NFT Worlds is back

I have no idea if this latest pivot will change anything. So many fumbles along the way, and I’ve enabled it by having held multiple worlds, tokens across chains, minted avatars, greyboys, loot, nodes, all of it! And while I lost a lot along the way (my kids still ask if I own those NFT worlds that were worth $30k each) I still root for you guys to succeed for some reason. I know you want to bring it back and keep it crypto, but I think the reboot would be cleaner as just “worlds”. Saw a few ppl propose that as well. Good luck.

@hytopiagg I'd love to just call it "Worlds" btw, but between trademark and domain availability and cash we have available rn, might not be possible atm.

Makes sense. Keep it lean, execute your core vision and hope it sticks. One idea that you may want to implement is having a “board of advisors” that can help guide and keep you on track. Gaps in comms and relatively obvious business decisions could have been better executed with some help along the way.

@ashokawashere @hytopiagg it would be cool if there was a way to make use of crypto native pfp NFT characters – it would make the game visually special and even more crypto native (every NFT should obviously be allowed to be stored in a cold wallet but linked to the in-game wallet – ie not risk exposed)

@hytopiagg We tried but building on the back of Minecraft, I’d also say it was a hugely bigger endeavor to do 4 years ago vs now with AI improvements and having spent 2 years build the foundation of a game engine anyways that we did with the hytopia platform

@hytopiagg Because it's not minecraft, it's an economy driven blocky exploration game that is more a mix of Minecraft, Runescape and Path of Exile than minecraft. People will understand how different it is and how fresh it feels when we release an alpha version hopefully in a week or two

@onchainv @hytopiagg will you launch a token for this project? and incorporate that token in the marketplace so items can have real $ value? and the higher the token goes the more the items are worth.

@hytopiagg This is the result of a lot of the work we did on the @hytopiagg game engine and art style over the years, mixed with some post-shutdown polish passes we had been playing with behind the scenes, and then Opus 5.5 tying it all well together with proper guidance on top.

@hytopiagg I’m astonished by your work , keep the developing momentum and you will succeed as a project . Just ship constant solutions and the win is inevitable. Great work 👏

@hytopiagg Do what you did at the start of the beta test: reward players with tokens for every hour played—that would be amazing.

@hytopiagg You might need to incorporate a play to earn mechanic too. It's crypto and to be honest, people just really want to make money.

This is built in @threejs (@mrdoob) btw, and incorporates a lot of historical work that @superhoge did with us before the HYTOPIA team shut down.
