Started playtesting our entry for @levelsio vibe coding game jam! We built a Fortnite / CoD deathmatch game with a Minecraft aesthetic using the game engine, which is based on Three.js Game was vibe coded using agentic Claude 3.5/3.7 with context of the HYTOPIA SDK

@levelsio @HYTOPIAgg Dang this looks sick. How did you give it the Hytopia SDK? Is there an llms.txt?

@levelsio @HYTOPIAgg Thanks! We built an agentic plugin for cursor + an MCP for context. We also gave it reference to the docs here and the SDK/API reference here: Cursor Plugin WIP demo is here:

Introducing OPEN, the first genre-defining AAA metaverse gaming experience with top-tier IP powered by web3 technology. Coming to @thereadyverse. #opensoon

@levelsio @HYTOPIAgg I feel like this game jam is cool but also the lack of time restraints is unfair tbh. Not to take anything away from your work and creativity of course, but having a 3-week headstart makes a big difference compared to people that are doing it in 7 days.

@levelsio @HYTOPIAgg Fair criticism, I will honestly say though I have maybe at most 15 hours of vibing into this at this point. Day-job game engine work prevents me from going nonstop

@levelsio @HYTOPIAgg Wow the difference that texture/ graphic can bring to a vibe coded project is insane, hugely improve the game by a lot I thought you were joking and this wasn't vibe coded lol

@levelsio @HYTOPIAgg Definitely vibe coded with minor amounts of manual intervention! I have a thread of working through building some of the earliest systems of the game using claude & grok here:

@levelsio @HYTOPIAgg Wait, WHAT?! This is amazing… I’m not worthy!

@levelsio @HYTOPIAgg Thanks! Vibe coding really shines when you have an SDK for context that just handles networking and the low level stuff for you 👍 @HYTOPIAgg handles it all beautifully

@levelsio @HYTOPIAgg I think the map could be more dynamic—something with a bit more of that CoD feel. Instead of the forest, maybe consider a more engaging setting, like the airport terminal. It could add more variety and strategic gameplay!

@levelsio @HYTOPIAgg For sure, rotating maps would be awesome 😁
