The screws are tightening on Russians who thought they could dodge the autumn mobilization wave by bolting for the exits. Nikita Grigoryev just got turned around at the airport on a fresh summons while Wildberries warehouses in Stavropol burn in the background. Nice timing. The regime is no longer pretending: borders are becoming one-way valves for cannon fodder. This is classic Kremlin hygiene. Let the useful middle class simmer in false hope, then slam the door once the next meat wave is queued. Burning logistics hubs and drone strikes on refineries are already forcing Moscow to scrape deeper. Now they are physically blocking the exits so the next batch cannot self-evacuate before the call-up papers turn into graves. Every fresh body they shove into the grinder changes nothing on the battlefield except the monthly butcher's bill. Ukrainian forces are already calibrated to process 50k orcs per month; accelerated mobilization simply accelerates the attrition on their side. Z-bloggers and regime mouthpieces quietly admit it: more warm meat does not magically fix broken command, logistics, or the demographic cliff they refuse to name. The West still treats this as some distant regional quarrel instead of the hybrid war laboratory it is. While Russians are physically prevented from leaving their own country, European capitals keep debating whether another round of watered-down sanctions might "provoke" the aggressor. The provocation is the invasion, not the response. Ukraine will keep grinding the imperial meat machine regardless. The only variable is how quickly NATO stops pretending that protecting its own eastern flank airspace is "escalation" rather than basic self-defense. Every delayed decision just adds more names to the next mobilization list in Moscow and more graves across both countries. The math is as brutal as it is predictable.

When your baby brother who's literally the size of a cooked Christmas turkey thinks he’s the boss of the house, but you’re a 100lb “please, make better choices” machine💪🐾 I was literally just standing there, vibing, existing in peace. This tiny menace comes flying in for a surprise chomp — one casual paw swipe and I accidentally yeeted him across the room like he was a curling rock on ice. He pops back up like a jack-in-the-box on steroids, charges for the full-body slam — hits me and bounces off like a tennis ball off a garage door. I give him the gentlest “kindly fluff off” correction known to dogkind — he flops, rolls over, and immediately pulls the Academy Award victim routine: big eyes, dramatic sigh, “why meeee?” The human steps in and sends us across the room and suggests we meditate as our antics are interrupting her Christmas baking marathon. Does the little terrorist reflect? Nope. He spends the next forever barking pure disrespect as he follows me around: “Old lady!” “Grandma!” “You’re too slow, fossil!” So I stroll over, pick up HIS holy tug rope (the one he’d fight a bear for), and just… hold it. Nice and high. Zero effort. Kenji absolutely loses his marbles. Popcorn jumps, helicopter spins, grunt-screaming like he’s trying to start a lawnmower, tiny Scrappy Doo legs paddling the air, tongue flapping like a flag in a hurricane. He clamps on, pulls with every ounce of his dramatic little soul…Rope doesn’t even twitch. I’m over here daydreaming about treats while he slowly melts into a sweaty, panting heap of defeated puppy. Moral of the story, Kenji: Keep testing Big Sis and you’ll keep collecting these free, gentle life lessons in glorious 4K. Love you anyway, rutabaga gremlin. #Servicerottie #RottweilerLife #BigSisterEnergy #KenjiTheMenace #TugOfWarFail #SiblingShenaniigans #InterwoofComedy 🎥 Evidence of the fluff I put up with

Something special for Masters Sunday. The founder Robert Tyre Jones Jr. and his masterpiece. The risk I mentioned below is worth it when uncovering lost films that haven’t otherwise made it through to the modern era. Whether that be the free streaming platforms or those behind a paywall. Nor the VHS era for that matter, they are recovered from the original old reels. I have lost films of all the legends and iconic courses etc. from 1920s onwards. Some of those are the icon that is Bobby Jones. He filmed a lot more than the Warner Bros series. This one below is from the 1930s, filmed at Augusta National and also features power hitters Jimmy Thomson and “Cannonball” Lawson Little. Little won 32 consecutive matches on the way to British Amateur and US Amateur championship victories in both 1934 and 1935 (“The Little Slam”). Jim Nantz has said Little holds the same special place in his heart as others have players like Ben Hogan, largely because they have the same connection to the Monterey Peninsula area. Jim isn’t on social media but perhaps someone could share this with him. It is nice to hear Jim and the CBS team this week which we don’t have week to week in Australia anymore after the PGA Tour made the bizarre decision to give us a hotchpotch commentary team and coverage for the regular tour events. Note in this film the beautiful Alister Mackenzie bunkering on 2 and 8 that has sadly not been fully preserved by their custodian Augusta National. In the early days they looked like they could be from the Melbourne sandbelt along with other Mackenzie masterpieces. Now they look quite unremarkable relative to what they were. Mackenzie once said he wanted bunkering to look like shark’s teeth from a distance. Now they are rounded off and lacking that distinctive character.
