Sigh, let me translate from “aspie enough put the n word in writing because it wasn’t racist”. He’s not saying it’s positive expected value to build AI faster under current conditions. He’s just saying there’s a positive component. Unfortunately the distinction is too subtle.

I was just thinking about this earlier! Med companies don't focus on rare diseases because not enough "customers". I hope AI solves this with inexpensive research.

This is not a correct summary of the clip you posted, he said “it’s a balance” between not rushing too much and not delaying too much (NOT develop as fast as possible)
