Everyone in Nigeria has a location. Now every location has a postcode. Today, NIPOST launches the National Digital Postcode System, and I’m speaking to you from the heart of it: our new GIS lab, where every corner of Nigeria is being mapped and coded. No more “turn left after the blue gate.” Your postcode connects you to deliveries, e-commerce, emergency services, banking and government services, wherever you are. After a successful pilot in Abuja, it’s now live nationwide. Know your postcode: Proud to lead the team building infrastructure that puts every Nigerian on the map. My deepest gratitude to President @officialasiwajubat for his vision and support under the Renewed Hope Agenda, and to the Hon. Minister Dr. 'Bosun Tijani , whose leadership in building Nigeria’s digital economy made this possible. Thank you to the NIPOST Nigerian Postal Service family, our partners, and every Nigerian who joined the exercise . This is national infrastructure built by Nigerians, for Nigerians. #KnowYourPostcode #NIPOST #DigitalPostcode #NigeriaAt66 #DigitalNigeria IndependenceDay

#WATCH | Delhi: At the #IndiaAIImpactSummit2026, French President Emmanuel Macron says, "India built something that no other country in the world has built. A digital identity for 1.4 billion people. A payment system that now processes 20 billion transactions every month. A health infrastructure that has issued 500 million digital health IDs. Here are the results. They call it the India Stack Open Interoperable Sovereign. That is what this summit is about. Today we're launching Replay When you're building with agents, the conversation is the work. The code is a byproduct. Digital ID is not about safety or efficiency. It is the quiet construction of a digital cage, a system where your rights exist only at the state’s discretion. Every scan, every login, every purchase, logged, monitored, controlled. That is not democracy. That is submission.
