lol, horrible experience back in March 2023, my family was relocating to PH from Benin. Inside the shattered bus was me, my husband, mum and our 7days old baby. We were stopped at the last police checkpoint just before Yenagoa tollgate, they had a misunderstanding with our driver and kept us there for hours, it was getting late already, my husband and mum went to beg them, they refused to let us go, even explained to them that we had a 7days old baby onboard coming from Benin and how this journey has been stressful on me and the baby, this people are not human beings we’re dealing with o, they shouted at me sef for begging with the baby, and asked if I’m the first to have a baby…. We even explained the circumstances of traveling with the baby at that age, this people do not have single sympathy. They kept us there till it was dark. A journey of like 4+ hours, we arrived PH almost 11pm. Since that day I have this strong hatred for Nigerian police, I hate and I hate them with passion.

If you are related to a police officer in anyway, you should always say God forbid 7times per minutes…. These guys are not serving anymore, they just put on their uniform to extort people cause everyday both online and offline we get to see these guys in full display, -either causing traffic while collecting from vehicles saying they are doing stop and search 😂 -arresting the innocent illegally just so they can extort. -threatening peoples lives while doing all of these, some of them even put you in trouble by themselves if you refuse to give. They have lost my respect a long time ago and I don’t think they’d ever be able to get it back.
