Nigerian troops are increasingly deploying small, often backpack portable UAVs for real time situational awareness and reconnaissance before advancing. This allows troops to scan for enemy patrols and detect threats beyond the line of sight.

Nice. I think they need heat sensors too. At least to know the heat being emitted by anybody around there and the proximity to their location

This is exactly what we have been shouting on and thank God it’s happing , the integration should be fast to cover most patrols and advances , atleast 2 drone per patrol will save life’s and retain the element of surprise .

It has been happening at the level of individual patrol units for a while now.

They should keep it up … I’m so happy to see this at. Least .

Operator should be in a armored vehicle for better visibility and protection. We should invest in communication equipment at least for men on the field. Doing things the right way is no longer an option please.

Should we be divurging this vital combat strategy online ?

A soldier life is worth more than a 500$ drone or even more. I love this. Drone warfare is a game changer. We can see that in the Ukraine-Russian war.

This is brilliant. The troops can defeat ambushes with this drone giving advanced terrain warning ahead. Thumbs up. However, the authorities should set their eyes on small tactical drones with thermal imaging - for night time fire fights. We need to keep up with evolution. Nice.

More should acquired included thermal ones

We should invest in better drones please. The one in this video is a cheap, lower endurance/altitude drone. Early awareness can be a game changer in the operations. If a vehicle cost 80m and we have 5 vehicles, drone of close cost as a vehicle is more than capable of its need.

Well kitted

Na this cheap drone Nigerian army de buy ?

welcome to mordern warfare

This is the path forward, other countries tackled banditry decades ago; it’s time we learn from them.

@Yemiii_x this is happening too

That is a awesome idea

This is great, more of that should be deployed. May God guide and protect all men and women wearing the camouflage, risking their lives day & night.

But our election results can't be transmitted in real time ....

May God Bless the Nigerian ARMY

Next is to get rid of all these light skinned vehicles at least in tactical operations across the country. Troops protection should be our ultimate priority. Even the Humvees for NA infantry are more suited for this kind of movement than those light skinned vehicles.

I love the Nigeria army and they have action and I have watch a lot of action movie , at the end of the day they came out with cow been rescued , they are one of a kind

This is 2026 🤦

Sorry story

Finally

This is great, God will keep protecting them

@heads96014

On battlefront like in the video, what's the safest drone path? • A to C • A to B to D ..and why?

Where has these tech been since... At least this woulf go a long way in combating terrorism

Big English untop small drone...

All these kind information supposed to remain hidden, not everything you'll post for engagement. I know you have good intentions but it'll also indirectly inform the terrorists to prepare more

Zoo things

They weren’t doing this before now?

Beautiful! But this terrain doesn't look like any of the hottest insurgency areas (North-east). Hopefully this, and more is introduced in the general North as well
