During interrogation, the suspect disclosed that the syndicate's camp was located at Abator, across the Isieke waterside in Ogbaru LGA. The intelligence triggered a follow-up operation, requiring troops to navigate the waterways and penetrate dense forest terrain being used as a hideout by the suspected criminals. Undeterred by the difficult environment, the joint force mobilised canoes to cross the river and advance towards the suspected camp. Upon reaching the location, troops engaged the suspected criminal, forcing the occupants to flee into the surrounding terrain, with some sustaining gunshot wounds. The operation resulted in the recovery of a significant cache of weapons, ammunition, electronic equipment and materials suspected to be associated with IED production.

See the stupid people who claim to be fighting for Biafra. Igbo people, open your eyes. If you keep supporting IPOB, Igboland could soon become a war zone. Some Igbo people see these people hiding in the bush but choose not to report them.
