This is the unedited part of the interview I granted a blog in 2017 (nine years ago) emphasising that APC may not be a Party of saints (which, I repeat, is a matter of fact), BUT it is still far better than where we were coming from. Some characters edited the last part of my statement out of it. And today, I repeat it again, I will be a fool to say APC is a Party of saints. And anyone who declares any Party to which he/she belongs as a Party of saints will also be a fool. But, on the balance, the APC still holds the best hope for the country and we cannot return to the era of PDP where you had some of the characters who are running for President today. It was only Mr. President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Bola Ahmed Tinubu that never hopped onto that battered train of PDP at that time.

I am aware that some Igbos living abroad have been financing certain senators in America to persuade President Trump to take action against Nigeria, framing it as a religious issue. Some of us have passed the stage of begging anybody. If Peter Obi is not tired of doing this his rubbish politics, then it is about time we call his bluff. The fact that you love Nigeria, is not enough for you to be unnecessarily selfish. The last election was won by the party in power because the opposition lost and the opposition lost because of failure to come together as one to form a united front against the ruling APC. When an opportunity for people of like-minds to come together to make Nigeria works, it is not the time for demoralizing statements and divisive statements. At a time when like-minds are coming together for Nigeria to come together, Peter Obi was going on air to say he is not interested in any coalition. If the coalition does not work this year then by next year Nigeria would have become a one-party State. Alot of Nigerians came out to vote in 2023 due to the expected credibility of INEC. In 2027, a divided opposition can't defeat a sitting President. This is fact. By 2027, the sentiment of South will not be in Peter Obi's favour again as by then President Tinubu would have done 4 years already. Worst still, Peter Obi, would by 2031, if the coalition to unseat Tinubu fails, succeed in destroying the political fortunes of the Southeast in as much as national politics is concerned. Like I said earlier on, I am not begging anybody. At worst, we will all support Tinubu, come 2027. People are suffering. Let us find a workable solution. Call it anything but the coalition must come together. Peter Obi should not be making divisive statements such as the one he made today regarding the idea of coalition, as such statement of his keeps bringing down the morale of everyone. At worst, Tinubu will win re-election. Peter Obi's selfish politics is becoming annoying. If he is not ready to play politics, he should retire from politics let those who are ready to play the politics come forward and indeed rescue Nigeria from APC already.

Imagine you need me to win, but your body language and disposition towards me portray me as a nobody, all because you are proud. Before you wake up, I’ve already packed. Respect is reciprocal. Anybody saying the goal was to remove Tinubu by all means doesn’t understand that there is something worse than Tinubu. It’s like thinking there was nothing worse than Goodluck Jonathan until you experienced Buhari. You thought Buhari was the worst until you experienced Tinubu. It is better for Tinubu to remain there than for Atiku to come and sell Nigeria like condemned iron.

That's the new Democratic way.” “I don't care if you are a supporter of Robert F. Kennedy or not this is fundamentally undemocratic.” “This should be culturally shamed. This should be culturally inappropriate. We should say that we are a country that believes in democracy and that this is anti-democratic and should be condemned by the Democratic Party but we're not seeing any of that.” Iverson makes a great point in this short clip, and it’s that it doesn’t matter whether you support RFK, the weaponization of the legal system against political opponents should bug you.
