Nigeria’s restructuring debate is about more than changing the constitution. It is about moving from an overly centralised system towards a genuine federation where power is shared and regions have greater control over their affairs. The argument for ethnolinguistic federalism calls for a system that recognises Nigeria’s diverse peoples...

The real game is embedded in the consolidation of these reforms and policies, that's why 2027 will be the most crucial election in the history of Nigeria 🇳🇬... The Soul of the Nation must be preserved, PBAT must continue ✌️😎

Aare you are right as always. Even the British that created Nigeria have given greater control of power to the ethnolinguistics areas in their country, the Scottish,Welsh and Irish have control over their affairs.

The Swiss model of governance, which emphasizes decentralization, local autonomy, and respect for diverse linguistic and cultural communities, may offer useful lessons for Nigeria as we continue to seek a more inclusive and effective federal system. Given Nigeria's rich diversity of ethnic nationalities, it is important that every group feels respected, fairly represented, and empowered to contribute to national development. At the same time, we must honestly address the actions of individuals who use the Nigerian passport to engage in international crimes and other activities that damage the country's reputation. Such actions bring dishonor not only to themselves but also to millions of law-abiding Nigerians at home and abroad who work hard to uphold the nation's image. However, criminal behavior should not be attributed to any ethnic nationality, religion, or region. Every community in Nigeria has produced men and women of integrity, innovation, and global distinction, just as every society has a small number of individuals who choose the wrong path. The focus should therefore be on strengthening institutions, enforcing accountability, promoting ethical values, and rewarding good citizenship. As Ọmọlúwàbí, we pride ourselves on values of integrity, honor, hard work, respect, and personal responsibility. These principles should serve as a model for all Nigerians. Rather than allowing the misconduct of a few individuals to define our national identity, we should work collectively to build a country where character, competence, and patriotism are celebrated, and where every citizen understands that carrying a Nigerian passport is both a privilege and a responsibility. If Nigeria is to achieve its full potential, our diversity must become a source of strength rather than division. A nation united by shared values, mutual respect, and accountable leadership will earn greater respect on the global stage than one fractured by distrust and ethnic suspicion. In the alternative make we kukuma go back to the tents of our ancestors....Ire oo

Hmm. True federalism means recognising our diversity, decentralising power, and allowing each region to control it's affairs while preserving national unity.

The terrible idea will lead to the breakup of NÍGERIA. After woefully failed Tinubu administration, they calling for tribalistic division of Nigeria. This will lead tribes fighting for superiority. Fools play down these tribal sentiments
