Ninja Scroll (1993)

This is such a master piece of the genre. The pure action and cinematography of Ninja Scroll is still amazing to this day.

I really miss the old uncensored over the top violent and sexy OVAs of the 80s and 90s. The hentai from the era was absolute kino as their stories were entertaining and interesting on there own, which is strange to say considering hentai is just fap material.

It's too bad the series never made it like the movie did. The film itself was a masterpiece, but they never could do a proper follow up. If you don't own this on disk, you should! This is easily in my top 10 Anime films of all time. Also, this Anime is perfect for gatekeeping 😏

Now I have to get this Blu-ray if it's in that format.

What a fucking amazing anime to watch, whilst growing up.

Fun Fact : They tried reviving Ninja Scroll in the mid 00’s but couldn’t find a stidio thatd help with animation because at that time doing an anime in this art style would’ve been really expensive to produce
