No wonder #PIA said those meeting are nothing but #PR. We are #Afican the blessed continent in the world in a snap of a figure we can pay the paper debt we have. Why don’t you try to mobilize our resources with other #African leaders rather than those people?

The real environmental protection requires #Ethiopia to consider that there are tens of millions in Egypt and Sudan who rely on the waters of the Nile, and for Ethiopia to cease unilateral actions in the #GERD dam that cause artificial drought in the Nile in #Sudan and #Egypt.

As we all know, you’re in weaponries shopping spree and on the other hand you’re talking about debt distress, debt burden, and about the need for debt relief, but you’re reluctant to give yr country & your people a relief from devastating round of wars, bloodshed, displacement.

Great point !! The world shouldn’t expect Africa to be the focal point when it comes to combating climate change since the continent had little to do with contributing to the phenomenon called ‘global warming’ if we’re to go by what the science tells us. Ethiopia should be able to prioritize how it chooses to combat this phenomenon by adopting the net zero approach — balancing its developmental initiatives (#LargeScaleFarming, #NaturalResources including #Coal, #AnimalAgriculture, …) with that of the noble cause of the green agenda.
