I stopped at Burger King this morning and got burger patties with bacon and American cheese. And I already know somebody is going to clutch their pearls over the American cheese. Here’s my question… If someone is trying to turn their health around, would you rather they eat a couple of burger patties with American cheese… …or throw in the towel because they couldn’t be “perfect”? Progress beats perfection every single time. Could I have packed food from home? Absolutely. That’s on me, and tonight I’m fixing that by meal prepping. But I refuse to believe one slice of American cheese somehow cancels out a good decision. Stop letting perfection convince you that you’re failing. Better choices, repeated over time, are what change your life.

There’s just something about a grilled burger. Two patties + 4 TBS butter = about $4 and I stayed full for 8 hours. Budget carnivore works. Stable blood sugar steady energy real satiety instead of cravings supports hormone balance helps lower insulin gives your body actual fuel instead of snacks every two hours If you haven’t tried a burger with butter yet, you’re missing out.

This is a 470 day old McDonald's cheeseburger The receipt is so old it’s deteriorated, but check out the burger bun, hamburger patty and the cheese. It’s all completely perfect There is no mold, no discoloration, it still looks edible. I actually show a McDonald’s burger that’s 18 years old here too. Again, still perfect This is not real food. People need to stop eating this chemical poison

You just grab 5 veggies, 4 proteins, 3 fruits, 2 starches, 2 breads, and 1 sweet treat. It keeps things simple, helps you stay on budget, and still gives you enough to make meals for the week. I don’t know which hack I like more though — this shopping method or the laundry basket she uses to make loading and unloading the car way easier. Both are low-key brilliant.
