#BriggsFire UPDATE: Firefighters have hose completely around the fire and have stopped its forward progress. Crews continue with heavy mop-up operations, as the fire was burning in heavy fuels. They will remain on site well into the evening hours as they continue to fortify the perimeter and put out hot spots. There have been no reports of injuries, and no structures are threatened. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

There is no other option than to continue the fight against the Islamic regime of Iran until it falls. In all other scenarios, Iranians will have to continue as hostages in their own country, Europe will get a nuclear-armed dictatorship as its neighbor, and money will keep flowing to terrorist organizations. Diplomacy with terrorists only leads to the repetition of the same evil cycle — no matter what promises are given.

The Nigerian government is sending people in Lagos back to their State of Origin. Let that sink in. They are dividing their own people, treating them as foreigners within their own country. This is not a policy of unity, it is a policy of exclusion. It is a testament to the deep-seated tribalism that has plagued Nigeria since independence. The Igbo, the Hausa, the Yoruba they cannot live together. They don’t trust each other, they don’t love each other. They cannot build a nation. The Senate KNOWS its bill cannot pass the House as written, so now they are trying to get House leadership to change the rules and are now trying to attach it to reconciliation, which is WILD because there is literally not a world that exists where that happens. 25 members including myself have agreed we will NOT vote on ANYTHING they send us until VOTER ID IS PASSED. Bring us a no-nonsense plan to finish the SAVE America Act, or do not expect the floor to reopen anytime soon.
