@YAppelbaum It’s a nice story but here in NYC, the DA’s office isn’t prosecuting people for robberies. Seems kind of petty to arrest someone for a campaign finance charge, and let robbers roam free. I’m not defending Trump, I’m defending NYC.

@YAppelbaum Remarkable. It should've always remained this way. But today some feel quite differently, as if they're entitled, but they're no different than any other when they break the law. Scofflaws must be held accountable. Integrity must again be the rule for ALL elected officials.

@YAppelbaum Once upon a time, THAT concept was a no brainer. Of course NO ONE is above the law.

@YAppelbaum At the end,of the day, Donald Trump is just a lying, corrupt, former government employee and he should be treated as such with no fanfare.

@YAppelbaum One case decades ago is the exception not the law. No More talking. No more stalling. No more apologists. Just shut up and PROVE IT.

@YAppelbaum Meanwhile in 2023 not even a FORMER president who broke HUNDREDS of laws AMD ADMITTED IT will be arrested by the FBI or DOJ.
