Absolutely! These are sovereign decisions made by two de jure states. The State of Somaliland attained de jure status on 26 June 1960 and, under principles of international law and state continuity, it maintains that de jure status as an equal sovereign entity. Israel reaffirmed and restored that re-recognition in 2025.
