Because he plays for the Yankees and he has been doing it for a while. The mvp, in any sport, rarely goes to the true MVP.

The wild throw into the dugout earlier, allowing a run to score, didn't look great... 🤷♂️

Idk but the Royals flat refusal to move runners into scoring position with a bunt late in games is criminal.

So you don't know why they are equal, but then immediately say Bobby's season is equally impressive?

No. It's not. It's a very impressive season and unfortunate for him that Aaron Judge exists because Aaron Judge is having a better season and is more valuable than Bobby Witt.

Did our third base coach get ejected?

Then they proceed to lose

No one will ever be able to explain to me why Bobby should be an *equal* favorite to win MVP. Maybe when judge was pacing for 90 HRs but Bobby’s season is *equally* impressive... Does that clear it up?

Judge is a beneficiary of unequal stadium dimensions. He is good, but not as good as his statistics.

You remove Witt from his team, they are not a good team. You remove Judge from his team, they are not a good team. They are both unbelievably valuable to their respective club. Difference is Judge leads in almost every single major stat that is factored into receiving the MVP.
