I like how the ones standing behind him wait politely for their turn instead of sticking their swords in the gap between his helmet and back plate.

Not a single lie was told in the making of this tweet. One of the greatest fight scenes in the history of film.

Sha based on the books it’s implied that Jamie could have been just as good. He desperately wanted to try himself against Arthur Dayne as he was his idol but he never got to do that because of Ned stark. Another reason why he hates Ned.

I dont know who that is in the vid, but it definitely ain't Ser Authur Dayne, The Sword of the Morning

This scene is an insult to Ned's character. The line when Bran says that Ned told a thousand times he defeated Dayne never happened. Ned hates to talk about Tower of Joy. People presume we defeated Dayne cause he comes back alive, not because he ia cocky about it.

what is interesting is the other sword he uses is dunks old sword. you can see the penny in hilt at start of fight.

Duncan?

Whole series ned brags about honour and shit but this scene totally exposed him .

I couldn’t help but see the many attack openings AND disadvantages Arthur Dayne had with that helmet.

My boy Ned held his ground tho lol

Someone literally stabbed him from behind. Something "no one" can accomplish with ease.

Ser Duncan?

more like sword of the dogshit

Thing is all of those knights would agree that Dayne would defeat them in one v one combat

Robert+ ned+ Jon arryn'i bile alırdı 3vs1

absolute dog shit, why does he have 2 swords?

One of the best fight scenes in the show

That’s Jon Snow being born in the tower

Not many people realize that “Sword of the Morning” is not a hereditary title but is one that is earned and that Dawn was a sword forged from metal from a fallen star.

Was Dayne, Duncan the tall's great grandson?

D&D Arthur Dayne sucks, Book Arthur Dayne is goated

Dayne definitely dropping everybody off.

They should have carried spears.

L’épée du matin 😃

As with Jamie, you always have to preface with one hand or 2…one hand he still beats Ned easy, but gets destroyed by Dayne…both hands? Probably a toss up.

Aragorn would have him kneeling in less than a minute.

Everything about this flashback is so unbelievably stupid. Dayne wouldn’t duel weld long swords, Went and Hightower would have taken plenty of Ned’s boys out before dying. The idea of Dayne or any knight basically winning a 5v1 is ridiculous especially in a grounded show like GoT

Man was dancing dancing

A man will kill you in your sleep.

This scene was dumb in all honesty. Dayne didn't need two swords to look "cool" and feel like a "badass" when he already was. Also Dawn look basic af, could've made his iconic sword stand out more.
