Diet soda makes you fat because it has chemicals that your body doesn’t know how to ‘process’? 🤣 Actually diet soda sweetened with say aspartame is processed into aspartate and phenylalanine (2 amino acids found in every source of protein & in way higher amounts) and methanol 😱. Before yall get your panties in a twist, the amount of methanol produced by diet sodas relative to what would cause issues would mean you’d need to drink approx 20,000 12 oz cans of Diet Coke to cause problems. And no, methanol does not accumulate in the body & it is metabolized by the liver & excreted by the kidneys. You’d die of fluid toxicity before you’d ever even come close to the level of methanol needed to cause any issues from drinking diet soda 🤷🏼‍♂️ So yea, our body knows what to do with it. But her claim doesn’t even make sense. If the body didn’t know what to do with it, how would it get stored as fat? And WHAT would get stored as fat? Which ‘chemicals’ and HOW EXACTLY THROUGH WHAT MECHANISM? 🤣 Maybe she’d say they cause insulin release which makes you fat… only one problem with that… they conclusively DO NOT increase insulin (PMID: 36839408) And diet drinks do NOT make you fat. In fact, in the HUMAN. RANDOMIZED. CONTROLLED. TRIALS where they have people drink diet drinks in place of regular sugar sweetened beverages, people lose weight, & in several studies they actually lose more weight than people who substituted water 🤷🏼‍♂️ (PMIDs: 37794246, 37475684, 26708700, & 35285920) I’m not saying you should drink diet soda in place of water. What I’m saying is for many people, diet drinks help them stop drinking regular soda, which in turn helps them lose weight, & get healthier If we fear monger this useful tool, it confuses people & the unintended consequence is many people takeaway not that they will drink more water, but they should not drink diet soda so they might as well continue drinking regular soda since diet soda is portrayed as just as bad by these influencers Also no one tell this gal water has dihydrogen monoxide 🤣. I don’t know her name… y’all tag her 🤷🏼‍♂️ DATA>feelings

Microplastics in Arteries Associated with ~350% higher prevalence of Heart Attack, Stroke and Death ☠️ In this video ( I cover the new NEJM data, and provide 11 tips to reduce Microplastics exposure 👉 n = 257 people followed for ~34 months 👉 4.53 Hazards ratio of Heart Attack, Stroke and Death if microplastics and nanoplastic particles (MNPs) were in their carotid arteries 👉 Those with MNP and no MNPs detected were similar along other risk parameters 11 tips 👉 Don't eat packaged food (duh!) 👉 Don't heat plastic (double duh!) 👉 Avoid those plastic baggies at groceries stories for buying produce, if possible 👉 Avoid cans, or look for BPA-free cans 👉 Natural fabric clothing (wool, cotton) > Polyester 👉 Same for carpets... and vacuum! 👉 Avoid synthetic sponges and brushes. You can buy those made of plant cellulose or coconut fiber, etc. instead 👉 Avoid heavy traffic roads (keep windows up during heavy traffic) 👉 ❌🦐🦪🦞 (NOOO!!!!! UGHHH!!!!) 👉 There are self-care products, e.g. toothpastes, deodorants etc. that are low or no microplastics 👉 OF COURSE... don't use plastic water bottles. Bad for you and bad for 🐢 'Mr. Dude' (if you get the Nemo reference) Check out video: paper: nb: *A criticism of the data in this paper will be that they are "associative." This was an "observational" trial, not an RCT. Technically, causality isn't proven. However, it's important to keep in mind that (1) You can't do an RCT on this topic with hard outcomes... you can't randomize a group a humans to microplastics exposure and then monitor for the outcomes of heart attack, stroke and death. (2) These data are consistent with prior work and have biological plausibility, i.e. there are data that microplastics can induce an inflammatory and immune response, signs of which we also see in this paper with the increase in immune cell activation markers and inflammatory cytokines (3) In general, the "cost" to reducing microplastics is inconvenience at most. If you choose to drink filtered tap water out of your own stainless steel bottle, rather than bottled, at absolute worst you get negligible health benefit and that water bottle doesn't end up in the ocean as pollution.

Have you ever noticed that the lifestyle advice we give to IBD patients is often the same as general health advice? It's a simplifying realisation. Here are my six core pillars for a healthy lifestyle, whether you have IBD or not: ________ 1. Sleep Well Aim for 7-8 hours of actual sleep per night, not just time in bed. I use a Whoop to track mine, and I've learned I need an extra hour in bed to hit my sleep target. Measure your sleep - you might be surprised. ________ 2. Eat Right This sounds simple, but it's challenging in our current food environment. Any urban dwelling human spends most of his days dodging armies of delivery bikers bringing tepid fast food to people’s sofas. A whole ecosystem has come into existence to solve a problem we did not have. Here's what to aim for: • Cook from fresh ingredients when possible • Eat mostly plants +/- some good quality meats • Avoid processed foods where possible • Cook with healthy oils • Limit sugary foods • Try to eat communally - it's how we've evolved to eat. This is the cornerstone of the Mediterranean diet. If you have IBD, particularly small bowel Crohn’s disease, then much of this advice is turned on it’s head, as we look to limit fibre intake. I would say consult with your dietitian but we both know full well that this is a luxury that few people have, especially in the UK. ________ 3. Manage Stress Stress is unavoidable, so develop a system to handle it. This could be: • Talking to a friend • Journaling • Exercising • Meditating or practicing breathwork Find what works for you to sit with your emotions and deal with stress effectively. I have found a combination of exercise, journaling, and regular therapy works best for me. But like everyone, very much just a work in progress. In an ideal world I would recommend that IBD patients speak to a psychologist but this is something very few are able to access. One day maybe … until then hopefully these small pieces of advice are helpful. ________ 4. Exercise Regularly In my opinion, there's no better medicine than exercise. Aim for a mix of: • Cardio • Strength training • Stability/mobility work (especially important as we age) If you are new to exercise start slow and find something that you a) enjoy and b) can commit to on a regular basis. It might start with a 30 minute brisk walk each lunchtime. Those with dogs have a definite head-start here! There is some emerging evidence that exercising regularly may help patient with IBD stay in prolonged remission and avoid flares! ________ 5. Get Outside Spend time outdoors, preferably in nature. There's something uniquely beneficial about being in open spaces, living as we're meant to. ________ 6. Nurture Relationships Foster close friendships and family ties over time. Human existence is meant to be shared. In our increasingly tech-driven, solitary lives, it's crucial to remember the importance of human connection. These pillars can help you stay well physically, mentally, and spiritually, whether you're already healthy or living with a chronic illness like IBD. Many of these practices, particularly diet, stress management, and exercise, are great for your gut microbiome - which is especially crucial for those with IBD. ________ Remember, there's no one-size-fits-all approach. My hope is that you might find something in here helpful, wherever you are in your journey through life with, or without, IBD.

After years of research, I owe you all an apology. I've been wrong. About everything. I spent the last decade telling you to avoid sugar and grains. I told you seed oils were poison. I told you the food industry was lying to you. I told you to question everything. Well, I questioned everything. And I finally found the truth. Sugar is actually essential for brain function. Your body needs it. Those headaches you get when you quit sugar? That's your brain telling you it's starving. I was literally telling you to starve your brain. And grains? The foundation of every great civilization. The Egyptians built the pyramids on bread. You think they were eating grass-fed ribeyes? No. They were carb-loading. I also want to apologize for everything I said about Kellogg's. Breakfast IS the most important meal of the day. I looked into it and that's based on real science funded by... well, it doesn't matter who funded it. The point is, a big bowl of Froot Loops and a glass of orange juice is exactly how you should start your morning. I've been working with some brilliant scientists at the Sugar Research Foundation and they've opened my eyes. Very generous people. Very well-funded research. Effective immediately, NSNG now stands for Needs Sugar, Needs Grains. I'll be launching my new program next week. It's called the SnackWell's Protocol. Fat-free cookies for breakfast, Gatorade for hydration, and a Jamba Juice smoothie with 87 grams of sugar for recovery. The science is settled. This post is proudly sponsored by Kellogg's , The Coca-Cola Co. , and the American Heart Association . Follow the money. Wait — I mean, follow the science. Happy April 1st. Question everything. Especially today. #NSNG #NeedsSugarNeedsGrains #SnackwellsProtocol #FrootLoopsAreHealth #QuestionEverything #AprilFools

Casey Means Says Berries Are Going To Make You Fat! Casey means is back on her BS. Honestly, as someone who comes from a conservative household, I am EMBARASSED by the nominations from the republican party, especially Casey Means being nominated as surgeon general because she consistently does NOT understand science In this video she claims that fructose is why bears eat berries because it helps fatten them up for winter & that’s why we should avoid fructose 1Do I need to point out the obvious that we aren’t f***ing bears? 2Do berries & fruit make people fat? Unequivically NO. In research studies where people eat more fruit, they have LESS body fat, BETTER insulin sensitivity, & better overall metabolic health (PMID: 29643151, 26996228, & 31139631) She then claims that high fructose corn syrup is 1000x (she fabricated this number) more potent than regular fructose & is associated with violence WATCH OUT FOR THE FRUCTOSE RAGE! The reality is that people in lower socioeconomic areas are MORE likely to consume more HFCS & people from lower socioeconomic status are 700% MORE likely to engage in violence, but oh yea… it’s the fructose rage Casey 🙄(PMIDs: 19631043 & 25147371). Just for comparison the increase in risk with HFCS consumption is an 11% increase in fighting (PMID: 32150827) meaning that the increase in violent behavior associated with HFCS consumption is COMPLETELY explained by the confounding variable of socioeconomic status Also HFCS is not magically fattening, in studies that replace HFCS of fructose containing sugars with other sources of sugar or carbohydrate but keep calories equal there is no effect on body fat or markers of health (PMIDs: 30463844, 26358358, 28536126, & 22351714) Until you are willing to go back to school to learn how to properly assess scientific research Casey, you need to SIT DOWN

5 Things Board Certified Cardiologist Dr Jack Wolfson Would NEVER Do: It Is Time Get Down To The Cold Hard facts Of How To Have Vibrant Health & Say NO To Imposters. Say Goodbye To Allopathic Medicine & Say Hello To Natural Health & Root Cause Healing. 1: Never tell people to avoid Eggs. Eggs are a multivitamin & phenomenally healthy. Cholesterol is healthy in every animal food. Don't believe the propaganda. ✳️If possible, find a source for local pastured eggs which contain the highest nutrition because the chickens lived their life outdoors eating an omnivore diet of worms & bugs & not fed soy & vegetarian feed in an enclosed unhealthy environment. Chickens are not vegetarian. 2: Never tell people to stop Coffee. Coffee is fantastic for Cardiovascular Health. Less AFib, less heart attacks, less strokes, people live longer. ✳️ Seek out organic water processed coffee beans, free of mold, for all of the heart healthy benefits of coffee if you feel great, renewed energy & focus, drinking a cup of coffee. Chlorogenic Acid in coffee prevents diabetes & cancer. 3: Never tell people to eat Oatmeal. Oatmeal is pure propaganda. Oatmeal is not for human consumption. It may not even be healthy for horses to consume. We do not need it & it's not part of our Ancestral Diet. ✳️ Oatmeal, though a better choice than doughnuts, is still pure starch which will spike your glucose & raise insulin, leading to a crash in a few hours. And oats are heavily chemically sprayed with Chlormequat, a chemical that severely disrupts male & female hormones. 4: Never tell people to eat Low Fat. Fat is super healthy. Never follow any low fat recommendations. 1970s propaganda. Most Medical Doctors have no idea about nutrition. ✳️ Incorporate Butter, Ghee, Tallow, Lard & Duck Fat into cooking & nutrient dense meals for vibrant thriving health & optimal brain function. Use 100% cold pressed unrefined coconut oil & avocado oil for salads & unheated recipes. (Remember 85% of grocery store oils are contaminated with seed oils) Know your oil origin! 5: Never tell people to see a traditional Doctor. Never see a Doctor who doesn't look for the cause. Always seek root cause healing & away from big pharma. ✳️ Allopathic medicine only dispenses medication, it was never intended to promote health or prevent disease. A low carbohydrate diet prioritizing nutrient dense animal foods, eliminating harmful seed oils & excess sugar, provides the best healthy cholesterol profile. Incorporate Butter, Ghee, Tallow, Lard & Duck Fat into cooking & nutrient dense meals for vibrant thriving health & optimal brain function. This approach keeps Triglycerides low & HDL high, which is one of the best Cardio Biomarkers for Cardiac health. TG/HDL ratio optimally should be 1.5 or less. 👇High Cholesterol Prevents Atherosclerosis👇 👇Low LDL Causes Cancer & Infections👇 👇The Higher Your LDL, The Longer You Live👇 Speaker: Dr. Jack Wolfson / Natural Heart Doctor Video: Valerie Anne Smith

How many people do you know who are endlessly scrolling courses, chasing the "next big skill," the shiny new thing everyone swears will make them rich or relevant? They stack certificates, watch tutorials at 2x speed, and wait for the perfect moment when they're finally "ready." Then they stay stuck. Years pass. Nothing ships. No money comes in. No real freedom shows up. DAN KOE dropped this post I quoted, because he sees it everywhere. He's watched the cycle for years: people consuming advice like it's oxygen, but never breathing life into something of their own. He built his path the hard way, through trial, ugly failures, and constant pivots and now he's calling it out plainly. No gentle nudge. Just raw truth meant to jolt anyone still sitting on the sidelines. "Stop Chasing the 'Best' Skills. Start Building Something That Could Kill You (Metaphorically)". Here's the core of what he said: "Don't try to learn the 'best new skills'." >> Build your own thing. >> Try to sell it. >> Fail over and over again. >> Learn what it means to adapt and iterate. >> Remove your dependency from others and hunt for your own survival. You will learn the exact skills you need, and you will learn them better than anyone else." Read that last line again. It's not motivational poetry. It's mechanics. Why This Hits Different in 2026 We're drowning in information. Every feed is packed with gurus promising the fastest path: "Learn this one prompt and print money." "Master this framework in 30 days." It's seductive. It feels safe. You can tell yourself you're progressing while staying comfortable. But comfort is the enemy of real skill. DAN KOE isn't saying education is useless. He's saying passive consumption without skin in the game creates shallow knowledge. He posted this early in the year because January is when resolutions peak and most die. People declare they're finally going to learn the hot skill of 2026. By February, the dopamine fades, and they're back to scrolling. The Real Learning Loop Nobody Talks About. 1. Build something real. Not a side project you hide in Notion. Something you intend to exchange for money. 2. Put it in front of strangers and ask for money. This is where most people freeze. "What if it flops?" It will. Multiple times. That's the point. 3. Fail publicly. The sting is your teacher. Customers ghost. Refunds hit. Each failure shows you exactly what's broken. 4. Adapt fast. Tweak. Rewrite. Repackage. Test again. Iteration isn't cute, it's survival. 5. Repeat until it works. Along the way, skills stack naturally. No course can simulate that pressure. No mentor can transfer it through words. You earn it through exposure. Some will say: "But proven paths lower risk. Why reinvent the wheel?" Fair. Copying a working model can give you a head start. But even then, you still have to execute, adapt to your audience, and survive the inevitable pivots. NOTE: "Blind copying without personal ownership usually ends in mediocrity". If this post sparked something in you, anger, excitement, defensiveness, lean into it. Pick one small thing you've been avoiding launching. Make it ugly. Make it small. But make it public and try to sell it. >> Fail. >> Adapt. >> Survive. That's how you become dangerous. Not by collecting more tutorials, but by becoming the person who no longer needs them. Inspiration from DAN KOE

Skills are the quickest way to 10x the quality and consistency of what you get from Claude Code. And you don't need to be a developer to use them. Anthropic just published how they use hundreds of skills internally every day. Most skill tutorials are made for developers — if you're in marketing, sales, content ops, or GTM, you probably watched those and moved on. But skills are just as important for non-developers. A skill is just a reusable prompt with clear instructions for a specific task. Instead of prompting Claude the same way over and over, you build it once and invoke it every time. I have a skill for writing on LinkedIn. A different one for YouTube outlines. Another for X. Each platform has different rules, different voice, different structure — so each one gets its own skill. If you're doing something repeatedly, it's time to make a skill. The biggest mistake most people make: building skills as a single .md file. A single file dumps everything into context whether Claude needs it or not. Wastes tokens. Gets worse results. Skills should be folders. Here's the structure that works: skill.md — the orchestrator. Tells Claude which files to read and when. It doesn't contain rules itself — it's the playbook. instructions/ — separate files for voice, structure, scope. Claude only loads the one it needs for the current step. examples/ — good AND bad. Good examples show what success looks like. Bad examples show patterns to avoid — AI writing tells, weak hooks, generic CTAs. Most people skip bad examples. Don't. eval/ — a checklist that scores every output before you see it. "Does it have a clear hook?" "Is it free of AI buzzwords?" Pass or fail on each item. templates/ — output formatting so you get consistent structure every time. The three types of skills that matter most for non-developers: 1. Business automation. Writing a newsletter. Checking reports and drafting follow-ups. Running programmatic ad campaigns. Any workflow you repeat — build a skill for it. 2. Content templates. Landing page copy, meta ads, email sequences, SEO briefs. Each one has specific requirements. Each one gets its own skill. 3. Thinking partners. This is the one people miss. Skills don't have to produce output. They can help you think — an advisory board that reviews your work from your ICP's perspective, a coach that pressure-tests your strategy, an ideation partner that researches competitors before suggesting your next move. If you already have skills as .md files, here's the exact prompt to restructure them in the Anthropic approved format: "I want to restructure my Claude Code skill file. Right now my skill is a single .md file and I want to break it into a folder system following Anthropic's best practices. Read my current skill file, then restructure it into a folder with: a skill.md orchestrator, an instructions/ folder with separate files for each concern (voice, structure, scope), an examples/ folder with good and bad examples, an eval/ folder with a quality checklist, and a templates/ folder for output formatting. Keep all my existing rules and intent — just reorganize them into the modular structure." Paste that into Claude Code pointed at the folder where your skill lives. It handles the rest. A few caveats: 1. Don't add too many skills. Every skill adds context Claude has to process. 50 skills loaded means everything slows down. Start with 3-5 covering your most repeated workflows. 2. Vet skills before downloading. If you grab a skill from the internet, read what's inside first. Skills can include shell commands and scripts. Check what you're running. 3. Share what works. Build a skill that performs well, put it in a shared GitHub repo. Your marketing org gets shared skills for copywriting, SEO, ad copy — new hires invoke the skill instead of learning every playbook from scratch. Onboarding time drops dramatically. 4. Keep your skills updated. When you see output you love, add it as a good example. When you see a pattern you hate, add it as a bad example. The skill gets sharper every time. I made a full video walking through all of this — including a live build of two skills from scratch (no terminal, no code), the exact prompt I use to restructure old skills, and 5 pro tips from Anthropic's internal playbook. Share this with your non-developer friends that want to do more with AI; or bookmark it to come back to at a later time.

🚨 AMERICANS ARE FIGHTING THE ISLAMIZATION! WOW - MURPHY, TEXAS WARRIOR EXPOSES SHARIA CREEP: "SAY NO TO PRAYER ROOMS, HALAL MEALS, LOUD CALLS TO PRAYER... IT'S POLITICAL ISLAM, NOT RELIGION!" A seasoned world-traveler (lived in Kuwait 3 years, Israel, Bahrain, Emirates) stood firm at last night's council meeting and shredded the "tolerance" myth behind Islamic center expansions: Our government allows Sharia spread under 'freedom, diversity, religion' - but this is POLITICAL ISLAM. She has lived in many Muslim countries (Kuwait, Bahrain, the Emirates) and has seen what happens when mosques come to neighborhoods. Our government calls it "diversity and tolerance," but it's really about making special demands that change our way of life. She wants citizens to say NO to these special demands... 1.🔺 Hijab/burqa in schools...France banned them for safety and national identity. → Say NO. A 7-year-old girl doesn't need to wear it. 2.🔺 Kids fasting during Ramadan They want kids to fast all day (no food, water, candy). Quran says: Skip if sick, pregnant, nursing, or young — make it up later. → Say NO. Protect kids' health. 3. 🔺Prayer rooms in schools or offices They want special rooms 5 times a day. Quran says: Pray at your desk, in the car, on stairs — no special room needed. Baptists don't get Bible rooms. Catholics don't get daily mass rooms. → Say NO. 4. 🔺Halal meals in schools, hospitals, offices Who pays? Taxpayers. Quran says: Eat normal food if no halal is available — don't starve. → Say NO. Don't spend extra money. 5. 🔺 Loudspeakers for call to prayer 5 times a day In the desert long ago, people needed loud calls. Now we have cell phones and alarms. If you allow it, Baptists will blast Billy Graham, Mormons will play choir music. → Say NO. Use your phone. 6. 🔺 Women-only walled-off areas in restaurants, salons, hospitals They want separate spaces so women aren't seen with hair showing. Small businesses would have to build walls — huge cost. → Say NO. 7. 🔺 Her closing point: Would we do any of this for Baptists, Catholics, Hindus? - NO! Hindus never threatened to cut throats. I've seen it overseas - we must say NO now before it spreads. Vote YES on the ballot measure to BAN SHARIA LAW (coming up in the primary)

🚨 Randy Fine Tries to Kill Private Process Servers After Viral Video of Him Hiding Under his Desk from One 🚨 State Senator Randy Fine has filed Senate Bill 826, which would eliminate private process servers in Florida, making it significantly harder for people to be legally served in civil cases. This move has raised major concerns about accountability and access to justice. Why does this matter? Fine himself made national headlines last year when he was caught on video HIDING UNDER HIS DESK at his state representative office to avoid being served for a deposition. Instead of facing legal proceedings like everyone else, Fine dove under his desk and later told law enforcement in a sworn statement he feared for his life, claiming he thought Hamas had come to kill him. He then tried to have criminal charges filed against the process server, the attorney, Jennifer Jenkins, and Robert Burns over the issue. None of which happened. His own legislative aide contradicted him, stating in her own sworn statement that she wasn’t afraid at all and that they regularly pretend no one is in the office to avoid unwanted visitors. Her complaint was that the incident prohibited her from making her daily call to family in Russia from the legislative office which is another matter of concern. Fine then tells law enforcement he was hiring attorney Alan Landman to get out of the depositions. He ended up having to sit for both of them. However, he paid Landman from his campaign finances after admitting it had nothing to do with his office or campaign. That resulted in an ethics complaint for which he is scheduled to have a probable cause hearing in April as well as an ongoing felony criminal investigation for illegally using campaign finances for private attorney fees. Divorce is awful, here’s true lessons from going through it... 1. Marrying well is the biggest life hack of all. 2. Marrying poorly is a costly path to misery. Choose wisely. 3. When someone gets divorced I often say, “I’m sorry and congratulations.” Usually there is pain and freedom. 4. Money makes people a shell of themselves during divorce, do not fall to that level. You can make more money later. 5. There is always an exit tax on freedom, expect it. 6. Careful of shadow influences, people who whisper in the ear of your former spouse fear and pain that can take an amicable divorce and turn it into a nightmare. 7. Find someone who has walked the path before you, taboo subjects will leave you feeling lonely and alone. 8. It is going to be ok. If you learn from this, you will be better. And likely so will your spouse. 9. Mediation, arbitration, trial. Avoid trial at all costs, try for mediation. Cheaper, faster, less contentious. 10. Find an attorney who lists on their website they help do divorce amicably, if one spouse has a wartime attorney, it will turn into war. Try to avoid that. 11. Grab your loved ones close. A place to stay, a friend to wake up to, a person to watch movies into the night. 12. Don’t allow anyone to shame you. Of course you wanted it to work, hopefully you tried hard. Those who secretly want divorces are often the loudest to yell at you for your choice. 13. Tears. You will shed a lot of them. It’s ok. 14. Find something to look forward to, a trip, a project. You can get lost looking at the past, look forward. 15. You can find incredible love and commitment after this, I did. It will take work but it will be worth it. 16. Write daily and often. Pain will be repeated until you learn from it. 17. If no one else says this to you, and you have given it your all, and your marriage is truly not right… you are making a very brave move. Hold your head up. 18. You will lose friends. They will choose sides, they won’t all choose yours. BUT the real gems for you will. 19. People will talk about you. Who cares.
