Presidents should be able to choose their employees. Just because it's become normalized to obstruct appointments doesn't mean it's a good thing. I'll bet if I searched your posts from 4, 12 and 16 years ago, I'd find that you agreed with me back then, Jeff.

Article II, Section 2, Clause 3: The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session.
