The point of Tithes when collected by the church was to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, give shelter to the homeless, heal the sick, etc. Since MOST churches don't do this. It makes perfect sense to use your tithe in that way. God knows your true motives.

This is an extreme circumstance and can't form the basis of tithe giving What if you've already given the tithe and on your way back home, you meet that person in desperate need? Would you run back to church to "withdraw" your tithe? Or if the person needs more than 20k?

I hear so many people hear saying he’s incorrect. You all have been so brainwashed that you don’t understand that not giving in the church directly means you are not giving to God.

I'm sorry to say but he's not actually correct. Tithe is for God and his church alone. There should be another percentage you give out to the needy or people on need or help, but your tithe is for God alone. Especially when your pastor has no other job.

Incorrect! While it's good and righteous thing to help/save someone who's about to die, what you very given is "alms" not tight sir. And giving alms has it's own blessings but it's not tithe.

Very wrong I must say. I am a sinner in tithing oh but I know what is wrong. U have 200k. 180k for u, 20k tithe. U can't sacrifice frm yr 180k but willing to use the Godly tithe of 20k for saving. No problem, bt, wer is d faith? Abraham shld hv tithed a slave nt Issac.
