IRIS Dena was a ~1,500-ton Moudge-class frigate & let’s be clear about capabilities. This was a lightly equipped surface combatant with basic hull-mounted sonar, no towed array, limited ASW envelope, and certainly not designed to counter a modern nuclear attack submarine operating at advantage. If a Virginia-class submarine is engaging from telescopic depth and decides to launch a torpedo, the engagement is already asymmetric. The surface ship is reacting late if at all. The video shows no visible defensive manoeuvres, no hard turns, no decoy deployment which strongly suggests the crew was not expecting an engagement. Sinking a ship that is afloat, unaware, and technologically outmatched is not some extraordinary feat of naval brilliance. It is what happens when one side controls the underwater battlespace and the other lacks layered anti-submarine warfare capability. Claims of dramatic “first hit” superiority sound impressive but to anyone who understands naval warfare, this was a mismatch from the start.

Observe the trajectory: 1. The missile initially boosts and follows a parabolic trajectory. 2. It appears accurate, but impacts the target in a straight terminal path with no visible manoeuvring. 3. In the boost phase, the turn is not instantaneous; instead, it is sustained and occurs at a higher altitude. PS : Video of Pakistani Fatah IV missile

Russia’s upgraded Ka-226T helicopter has successfully completed its maiden flight with the new indigenous VK-650V engine. Key highlights: 1. Earlier powered by French Safran Arrius 2G1 engines 2. Now equipped with Russia’s domestically developed VK-650V turboshaft engine 3. Flight tests included taxiing, stable hovering, and aerial maneuvering 3. Major step towards reducing dependence on Western aerospace components amid sanctions 4. The Ka-226T is also linked to the India-Russia joint helicopter production program (Was pushed on Back burner earlier).

That plume geometry is interesting. Doesn’t look like a simple ballistic boost trajectory alone. Why ? Here is why ?? The expanding illuminated exhaust cloud, distorted corkscrew pattern and possible staging/divert signature suggest a high-altitude event with either maneuvering, stage separation or post-boost activity. Classic ballistic missile plumes are usually cleaner arcs during ascent. This looks more like an interceptor/BMD test, quasi-ballistic profile or an upper-stage event interacting with upper atmospheric winds during twilight The illumination makes it look intriguing

HAL needs to understand that they are out of favours now. Yes, the Rafales were accepted first and the Indian Specific Enhancements were integrated later, after induction. But in the case of the LCA, your supply chain is not just clogged on the US side, it is also facing dependency issues on the Israeli side. Given HAL’s track record and radar modes should have been fully tested before delivery. IAF wont accept it without everything they were promised and that responsibility lies entirely with HAL. We had already warned back in January that excessive Israeli dependency would eventually impact timelines and integration cycles. Had we aggressively moved toward the Uttam + SRK route earlier, some meaningful headway would already have been achieved by now.

The Indian Air Force demonstrating how Garud Commando Force can secure and take control of a runway deep inside enemy territory. In the previous clip, we saw the Lockheed Martin C-130J Super Hercules carrying out CASEVAC operations showing the other side of the same capability. These aren’t just for display. When such drills are executed during an exercise, they represent real, operational capability not a showpiece. Footage from Vayu Shakti 2026. Aircraft C295

Rafale was definitely the hero during Operation Sindoor. Indian Air Force is looking forward to inducting more MRFA (Multi Role Fighter Aircraft), which is going to be Rafale or any other, which are under deliberations, and a concrete decision has yet to be taken.
