I agree. Now what about kids beating the hell out of Oklahoma teachers? I'm all for protecting kids, but at what point do you do anything to actually help the teachers facing classrooms that have turned into battlegrounds?

Kids can’t learn on an empty stomach. I say this as a classroom teacher who supervised the lunchroom for 20+ years. This school lunch was nutritious, filling, and free. Because in Minnesota, we will not allow our kids to go hungry.

Students - you are safe at school. Parents - your kids are safe to be sent to school. Educators - we’ve got your backs and will protect you too. We released new dollars today so every school division can review their safety plans and do what needs to be done in light of the recent incident. We will keep working with communities, staff, and law enforcement to ensure kids are safe in Manitoba as well as every single school in our province.

South Ozone Park, Queens OP: These kids are out of control and the cops are doing nothing. These are kids with knives and guns. The 106th Precinct needs to do something for once. People aren't even safe in their own hom. These are all John Adams [High School] kids trying to break into the building to attack the tenants, because we tell them not to smoke in our building.
