Not only do I agree with Supt Walter’s, but each school bus should be required to have a bus monitor for all ages. It’s dangerous to expect drivers to drive safely, drop off grade school students at their bus stops, and monitor all of the students. Half the buses have tapes but don’t record properly. Over 1/2 the buses are old and dont have a/c. The whole Dept of Transportation ends and overhaul. Bus Barns need better GPS software to monitor their buses locations.
