Why must we keep promoting female ministry? It is solely the priest who is able to act in persona christi during the Mass. Although many women serving at the altar have good intentions of being of service, that does not change the reality: the purpose of altar servers is to foster future priestly vocations. Some might argue, "But women serving at the altar can foster future religious vocations." Not necessarily, because nuns do not belong at the altar. Their mission is beautiful and very important, but it is different. This type of unnecessary inclusivity has contributed to the effeminacy of the Church and the shortage of vocations. A boy who sees a priest surrounded by female altar servers will not perceive that as masculine, nor will it motivate him to join the group. However, if a boy sees a priest surrounded by devout males, it strikes him as holy and heroic, and he will want to join. In fact, a survey conducted by CARA a few years ago revealed that more than seven out of ten priests ordained in 2020 had served as altar servers—an experience that led them to a profound understanding and appreciation of the Mass and the priesthood. If we want more—and holy—vocations, it is necessary to reserve this humble service at the altar for males, as designed by Our Lord.

When I was on the JRE, Joe asked me about the epic of Gilgamesh and the Noah’s Ark story. Are there parallels? Yes! But those parallels are less one copying from the other and more emblematic of the reality of a story (the biblical one I would contend being the authentic narrative) having a cultural rememberance within the parallel groups of the Ancient Near East. The fact that multiple ancient cultures have their own similar although not exact great flood stories indicates that something probably did take place. The cataclysm is their heritage and so they remember said heritage by including it in their oral and written traditions. Acknowledging the similarities (while also pointing out the differences) isn’t a threat to the authenticity is the biblical story, it’s actually an asset to its reliability!

But according to many Ark researchers, Noah would only have needed around 1,500 animal “kinds”, thats roughly 7,000 animals total. Why? Because Genesis speaks of kinds, not every modern species we see today. Noah also wasn’t required to bring insects or marine life on board the ark. On top of that, many Ark researchers and biblical scholars believe the animals brought aboard were likely young animals, making them smaller, easier to manage, and requiring far less space and food. And when you compare the number of animals to the massive size of the Ark, the whole thing suddenly starts looking a lot more manageable than people assume.

When Flint Dibble interviewed you, he asked you directly: “Is this an intentional burial to preserve it for the future? Is it slope erosion? Is it a combination of both?” 📍You only mentioned slope erosion in your answer, and nothing about intentional burial at Gobekli Tepe. You chose not to say anything about that. I don’t share this as a “gotcha”, as you’ve now made it clear you think it may have been “both”. However, your past responses have been inconsistent. Either way, it’s clear it was intentionally buried, just like Karahan Tepe
