Because the private health sector never makes mistakes 🤣. Fuck off to America Wendy and see how you get on there.

My condolences to Wendy and her family. However, the #NHS saved my life,I have nothing but praise for every member of staff who works for that wonderful organisation. Thank you Nye Bevan,my hero. #SaveOurNHS 💙

So Wendy has a really bad experience (with a horrendous outcome) so wants to deny millions of people access to the NHS. Nothing entirely selfish going on here, nope, just scrap the NHS because she’s upset 🤷♂️

It's a very sad story, but i think a lot of people don't understand the function of A&E. They should have gone to a GP first not A&E.

Society NEEDS to stop listening to people who are grieving. Whether it’s a murder victim’s Mum, or a widow, they are far too emotional to contribute anything to any conversation.

Ive had a bad experience therefore everyone else has to suffer. Yeah that makes sense .🤔

“I had a bad experience so I want the entire system scrapped” What a bastion of society she it. The equivalent of saying ‘I got mugged on the way home last night so I won’t be happy until everyone else has been mugged too’.

I know that I’m biased, but as a pharmacist working in the NHS, I’m so proud of the incredible work that everyone does & it is worth fighting for imho. I can’t imagine what this must’ve been like to go through, but I’d ask why go to A&E in multiple hospitals instead of the GP?

We’ve been effectively refused a GP. I can’t wait for the NHS to be made private.

Radio #Reform, shilling for private healthcare companies. We see you @LBC 👀 Keep your filthy mitts off of our #NHS.

We need a two tier system like america. A shit system for benefit scroungers and a good one for tax payers. Same with schools. Scroungers deserve a 2nd rate service.

Why didn't she take him to see his GP? Genuine question.

So because she had a bad experience, she wants to screw everyone else over.

Well, within 2 weeks of a PSA test, my husband had had a nuclear scan and and MRI. Within 6 weeks, he'll have his biopsy. All at the worst hospital in the UK.

Did her husband go to his local doctor? A&E aren’t meant for the type of illness he had. They are Accident &Emergency..,

I have had 3 close family members die by NHS ineptitude. I would fight a war to keep it.

So because YOU had a bad experience, everyone else should suffer?? Peak Britain 2026! Should show her how much it would cost if there wasn't an NHS.

This idiotic caller has a bad experience and would prefer to end up with no healthcare as the alternative. Make it make sense.

Your mistake was going to A&E - go to your fucking GP in the first place. People like you are why the NHS is struggling.

The NHS isn't the envy of the world anymore & hasn't been for many years. Some level of state help should be available for those in need, but systems like Aus, Swiss, and others should be the gold standard we're aiming for Politicians too scared to lose votes by suggesting it

An article once followed the treatment of someone in a car crash and itemised cost of every intervention . Starting with ambulance, A&E assessment, scan , xrays , porters, admission, drugs, tests ,operation, physio , more operations, more scans, rehab, cleaners .Thank you NHS

LBC always seem to find the most disgusting people to put on the air.

She has NO idea how much it would cost her per month at her age.. she probably wouldn’t be able to afford it

the amount of horrible comments here about this lady ... the nhs is like a god in this country you are not allowed to say anything critical about it.

I bet her travel insurance is already out of the roof now multiply that by a 100. That would be health insurance monthly, Ambulance will cost you money too .

The NHS is not a fantastic organisation. It long ago lost that accolade. It’s simply not sustainable in its current format. Yet not a single government will fix it. Many have argued that it’s too big a beast to fix…the cost of law suits from NHS failings are eye watering.. I don’t know what the answer is but if you can afford it, no harm in having private insurance as a back up.

Had issues for ages and went to specialist and got absolutely nowhere! Got a job in the states and four months into the position I got rushed to hospital! My thyroid had obliterated itself and the doctor was absolutely perplexed why it wasn’t found previously! Cheers nhs!

£15,000 to have a baby. £2,000 still out of YOUR pocket. WITH insurance. 😭 Reform the NHS? Yes. Scrap it? Absolutely not.

This is less an argument against the NHS but against austerity stripping the fuck out of the whole service

Only morons want the NHS scrapped. Go to America and tell me about healthcare without the NHS

If the NHS is so great why haven’t other country’s followed the blue print? It’s just an ideology grooming work place now.

My best friend repeatedly went to her GP with shoulder pain that was getting so bad, she had to stop work. Two years later, a lung biopsy, she died three weeks later of cancer. A simple X-ray at the start would have shown a shadow on her lung. Things might have been different.

Agree its not for the British people its a free word service a bit like the BBC?
