Nodes have always been a huge hurdle for two groups: non-technical creatives wanting to try ComfyUI, and builders with complex workflows they can't easily hand off. App Mode fixes both. Now you get the full power of node-based workflows without looking at a single node. Here's a quick demo...

not sure how nodes are being an obstacle - as visual thinker, I don't know anything better than nodes to visualize complex logic to then re-use it for years

Agreed, but the very first time interacting with node based UI's can be daunting. I hope App Mode can empower creators to take a look behind the app into the nodes and realize it isn't all that bad.

having an option to switch is (almost) always a good idea is it time for me to finally start learning Comfy (damn, I didn't get there yet)?

Rob is there any way you’d consider making a non-tech friendly “comfy ui can’t start” solution? Even for me, removing new nodes etc and problem solving is difficult. I wish comfy ui could problem solve its own startup issues :)

ComfyCloud fixes this! 👀 If your local install is in the depths of dependency hell, my best advice is consult an LLM haha, that's been my strategy for a while

lol 100%. I wish I could separate instances of comfy on my machine though - to “keep alive” working versions of each… combination of dependencies haha. I’m sure there’s a way to do that, but yeah I’m not great at comfy I admit ;)

App Mode matters if handoff actually improves. Are you tracking completion rate and p95 time-to-first-result for non-technical users?

That's excellent! Any documentation on how to build them?

Abstraction helps adoption, but handoff quality decides retention. Are you tracking first-run completion rate and edit success for non-technical users?

App Mode hides nodes-will creatives really trust less control?

I agree, even as a somewhat technical person I remember comfyui’s nodes seeming “scary” to dive into. Quick question, sorry if it’s unrelated but what do you use to make your screen recordings? They seem so effortless 😊

not a good example. slow it down and explain what does what to separate it from another random video :-)

app mode is the right abstraction layer. now creatives get the power without learning the internals, and you can hand off workflows to clients without them accidentally nuking the node graph

I love my nodes, but once you get a clear process, it’s easy to build your own automations with dynamic_functions.

This APP mode can only be executed locally and cannot be modified a second time? To create this app, must it be done through Comfy Cloud?

At its core, iAgent utilizes Protocol Nodes to support and maintain the ecosystem's functionality. This collection of publicly maintained nodes help: ❒ secure the network ❒ determine rewards for GPU workers ❒ earn rewards for their contributions to the network iAgent has 2 types of protocol nodes: 🔘Genesis Nodes 🔘Public Nodes With a 5000-supply, Genesis Nodes are engineered to yield x3 $AGNT tokens generation compared to Public Nodes (which will come at a later date). As a token of gratitude, Genesis Nodes also receive TGE: 2% AGNT tokens from reward pool. Other Genesis Node Utilities & USPs include: Participation and Governance: Genesis node operators have the chance to engage more deeply in decision-making processes through iAgent's governance model. Exclusive Access: Operators of Genesis nodes may receive early access to test new features and products within the iAgent ecosystem. Reward Structure: Nodes earn $AGNT tokens, and Genesis nodes do so at an accelerated rate due to their higher token generation multiplier. Rewards are calculated dynamically, with consideration given to node performance and network contribution. Technical and Community Support: Genesis node operators are expected to receive dedicated support from the iAgent team, ensuring optimal performance and uptime. Requirements to run an iAgent Node: Dual Core, and 8GB RAM, are all that is needed for lightweight processing. Anyone with Genesis/Public Node NFTs can run it. But how do you get yourself one?
