Air systems create FM......make sure you are coring your bins

It think it could use more Non-GMO white corn in it. You’re welcome.

My best advice is to make sure your bin doors are closed.

It takes a little work, but sealing the blower pipes into the top of the bin saves a lot of cleaning year in and year out.

They are sealed pretty well- I’ll give them another look! Thanks

Oh then you’re good I’m sure. Just thought I saw one there for sure that wasn’t and wasn’t sure on the others.

Have probably heard this from others, but if your dryer gets dirty, best to power washer while it’s running, it blows all the water out away from the corn that way so your columns don’t get sticky.

We built a shed over the blower and it killed so much noise. High % of beez wings come out of the load auger going into the dryer at the top. We pump into 60k bins (48-10s) and pull 3-4 core loads that are 4-8% FM and FM goes away after that

Good call on coring. Anything to mitigate bees wings (red dog as some psychos call it)

Put a full size air compressor close by your dryer. Helps cleaning bees wings off the dryer. Others have said power washing which works also.

1. They're right what they say about FM coring bins is key 2. Build a good relationship with a grain vac repairman, he's guided my next steps far more in making systemn work to best of abilities !

Anyone have any level sensors in the bin that would shut things off

Build the binsite away from the yard or sheds… so it’s another asset that could be sold off should the business stop operating

Quantum needs a dry shed to reside. Take inside the house once you are done.

Yes, that’s the plan

I didn’t like my FM when I used an air system. dryer systems are a work in progress until we quit spending money on them.
