Northwestern Researchers create low-visibility drone using motion blur instead of camouflage

The perfect device for spying on deaf people

May be hard to see, but definitely not sneaking up on anyone who's got working ears!

Actual Predator drones! 👀

Me, hearing it but not seeing it

Sounds like a teapot from Tom & Jerry

Great, another new tech that won't get abused by LEO and government.

the floating boiling kettle will certainly give it away.

Awesome, now make them look like this

. Without a stable platform you have no GPS, no controllability & no video. All you have is a curiosity.

Here’s a video it captured

What if this is why UFOs are always blurry in photos

Hard to see, yet not at all hard to Hear 👂👂. Maybe learn a thing or two from Owls or Hummingbirds.

PC Gamers will disable motion blur right away.

''Hey do you see that drone over there?'' - ''WHAT?'' - ''you see th... '' - ''WHAT?''

I’m not sure I love the idea of invisible drones

We need Retro reflective tech...Hail Stark!!

I'm still able to detect it somehow

Works great on vehicles where it doesn't matter how fast they spin. But on a drone trying to take high res video, or of blowing up a target, it would be almost impossible to accomplish.

This sound will soon trigger PTSD for many men I’m afraid

The people claiming they saw UFO's is going to go through the roof.

I've seen this before.

Makes me think of the movie screamers...

One thing is for sure! Just a few fishing lines attached to the ceiling and these drones will quickly get tangled in them. They can't be seen, but they get wrapped around any vertical wire.

We’re doomed. All these advancements in drones that will specialize in weaponization and hunting of mankind 😔

Who needs physical cover when you can just outsmart the human eye’s perception?

drone warfare was already bad enough.

Works on deaf people for sure.

@JPATech_USA Except for the 1200 decibels it’s nearly undetectable. 🤪🤡🙄

Why the fuck are we making shit like this?!! Why are these evil people trying to just make fucking money when this shit could ruin our lives

Oh good. Hunter seekers.

i still see it tho lol

Which means it can be countered with higher framerate.
