That looks like a neat trick. But you can't use it other than to fool others. The problem is that is doesn't work on all numbers. Here's two examples of cube and square roots that don't work.

Mathematics is actually easy, even the √ ones. Who here doesn't like math?

Yes, it's true, it's actually easy, it's easy to get stressed 😭

Try square root of 36. The examples used in the video are coincidental only.

He just wrote about a few exceptions, that’s all. It’s obvious that this method doesn’t work for regular numbers.

False. Square root is not the same as adding the decimal digits and subtracting 2. It just happens to be true for these numbers.

Teaching people wrong things. Please dont post such videoa. So square root of 169 is same as square root of 196 according to above method.

So the square root fro 625 is 11? (6+2+5-2) Or from 169 is 14? Stop spreading out the "magic formulas" which work only for selected numbers.

This is dumb, it only show possible solution - square root 49 , 4 + 9 - 2 =11 which is wrong

Mhm the first few I tried were: sqr(36) = 3+6-2 = 7 ❌ sqr(81) = 8+1-2 = 7 ❌ sqr(49) = 4+9-2 = 11 ❌ Is it me or is this just some kind of engagement bait? If yes, I guess it worked

Clever trick! This isn’t math — it’s sleight of hand. Four cherry-picked numbers, dressed up as a universal rule. Try it on √81? 8+1−2=7… oops. ∛512? 5+1+2−3=5… wrong again. You didn’t lie. You just cleverly “curated” the truth. Brilliant. Well played. Not mad, just impressed.

Don't lie to people, it doesn't work for most perfect squares or cubes.

Funny: This would mean that each sqrt of a integer is integer number - sorry it isn't .

Adding the digits under a root and then subtracting 2 or 3 (for square or cube roots) doesn’t work. it’s just coincidence. Roots are nonlinear: they depend on multiplication, not digit sums. Neat trick, zero math behind it.

Learning math is not about learning tricks. Once you leave school you will probably never work a math problem again. So why teach it? Because you need to understand how numbers work together in the universe. You need to be able to "think" mathmatically to solve problems on the fly. Learning tricks gets you zero results.

Try square root of 36. It certainly is NOT 7. Try square root of 9. It certainly is NOT 7. Try square root of 49. It certainly is NOT 12.

√100 with your method is -2 =(1+0+0)-2 🤡 ³√512 with your method is ( 5+1+2 )- 3 = 8-3 = 5 🤡🤡🤡 What manner of clownry is this 😂😂😂

It's easy when the numbers happen to work. Not so easy for the infinite numbers that don't. ²√1 = 1 - 2 = -1✗ ²√9 = 9 - 2 = 7✗ ²√16 = 1 + 6 - 2 = 9✗ ²√36 = 3 + 6 - 2 = 7✗ ²√49 = 4 + 9 - 2 = 11✗ ²√81 = 8 + 1 - 2 = 7✗ ²√100 = 1 + 0 + 0 - 2 = -1✗ ... and so on.

Because it isn’t, it’s a curated list of examples otherwise square root of 9 is 7, square root of 36 is also 7, and square root of 49? That’s not 7, it’s actually 11. 😂
